I have the same question hehehe.. what i did though was from January 2010 to december 2010 to cover the entire 2010 as we have the copy of my husband's tax record for that year.

Oh Hi! That's what I thought, i also have my NOA and option C print out of 2010 but my wife told me those date. Im bit confused now...hehe!

hi michi08! that will be fine, it covers a one year period naman eh, tsaka para latest na din. they could call your employer naman anytime to confirm eh.

i think it will not really matter if you will put march2010-march2011 in your start and end date. same company kpa din naman nag work right? yung samen kasi ng hubby ko (he is the sponsor), we indicated jan2010-feb2010, though yung option-c printout nya is 2009 pa, he still works in the same company padin naman eh. so i think it will be fine.

parang nasagot ko na po to dati, anyways your parents is right u can sponsor her after u landed find job and get back home to marry your gf. theres no certain amount but you have to get job as a proof that you could support her.

What are the additional documents that were requested by the CEM? We are preparing our documents and I kinda wanna have it completed with no room for another docs request.

thanks mrs.vip... ahm i just have one more thing to ask. coz the visa office here in manila have asked for my passport last oct 2010 and its been 5 months. then they've sent my wife in canada my rprf to be paid. so would it still going to be approximately 2 months of waiting? and here is my time line.

july 26/10 - application received in mississauga
oct 14/10 - application approved
oct 10/10 - CEM AOR/Passport & AOM request
nov 4/10 - evidenced of relationship request
feb 7/11 - documents returned
march 4/11 - RPRF received and paid
DM - still waiting
VISA - still waiting

Tanong lang po 10mos palng kasi ako dito sa work ko sa Canada. 8mos working to be exact coz i went for holiday for almost 2mos last december2010 and came back last January2011. Ano po dapat kong ilagay na date?

I am divorced. I had submitted my divorce certificate, as required in the check list, but they came back asking for my divorce petition. At first I thought this was very strange, but after searching on this board I discovered that several others were asked the same thing.

One person even commented that their lawyer suggested that they submit it with their inital document package.

Again, I do not know why it is required, but I was asked for it, and I sent it in ...

Hello Simplytin;

I read your timeline on your signature. I believe ours is almost the same.

- We submitted our application to Missasauga on Dec 22nd
- It was approved and sent to Manila on Jan 18th
- It was received on Jan 31st
- We received a letter dated Feb 11th for our Passport and additional docs
- We couriered our Passport and docs on Feb 25th
- We received a 2nd request for docs dated Feb 16th
- We couriered the 2nd set of documents on Mar 3rd

and now we wait ...

It would be so nice if the would confirm receipt of our documents. They were sent by courier, but still, we just do not know if they have them or not ?

Also, all the corespondence so far has been through regular mail, from the embassy. We submitted our email addresses. I wish they would have emailed us, it would have saved at least 3 weeks on their requests.


Now we wait. My wife often tells me, His time not ours. I know she is right (she is very wise) but truth is, the waiting game is very difficult.

I hope we both receive good news (our visas) soon.

oh yeah we do have the same processing time as of now....we are sure that we had comply with everything they need, our application is complete before my hubby sent it CPC-M....but then except for those additional docs they requested on me....we alsmost have the same dated letter in additional docs...and i do agree with you, hope they will at least notify as if they already received what we  had mailed them, but then kinda devastating they dont...

when did your wife received the second letter that was dated feb. 16, what else did they ask in the 2nd letter you had received?

i sent my PP last feb 28 and as of now, didn't receive any letter yet either news regarding our application, even in their site, no update yet...
but we are hoping for my visa to come one of this days since we complied with their request and hopefully no 2nd request letter to come, it kinda suck and will prolong the process....i miss my hubby very much..i'll update you soon when my visa came...

2 kase un yung una para sa process ng papers ung isa landing fee kung binayran mo yan both 1040 eh wala kang problem pero kung ang binyaran mo ung pag process lang matatagalan ka ng 2 months

and yes they will still process your paper kase ung 2nd payment eh LANDING FEE (RESIDENT FEE) na un pag nagrequest sila nun meaning approved n ung application mo pero pag hindi sila nagrequest edi refused.

anyway asa kit naman un

abt sa passport mo kung kelan mo makkuha eh depende talaga un case to case ika nga kung wala naman problem and feeling mo napass mo n lahat eh makkuha mo un agad at least 1month after mo ipass ung PP pero it depend sa mood ng officer or depende sa case wala naman talaga pwede magsabi gaano katagal makukha after mapass un PP eh asa officer talaga ung sagot and kung sa case

ah ganun ba..good to know that my hubby said he paid it the right amount 1040...so hoping dumating nalang visa one of this days....i miss him very much to the extreme...hehehehe...

yeah tama ka...no one knows when will it come, but then i know it will in due time and in God's time!
