mga kuya and ate, baka po meron sa inyo pwedi makasagot ng tanong ko? please and thank you... i checked ecas today and manila started to process my husband's application. i saw he's last name written as SANTA CRUZ. pero sa lahat documents ng hubby ko and buo family din nila they used it as STA. CRUZ. tingin niyo po ba magkakaproblem yun or kailangan ko po ba tumawag sa immigration for correction?

    good day! tatanong ko lng po sa mga nauna na dito gaano po ba kyo katagal nagpasa ng application
    sa missisauga pagkatapos kayo ikasal.kasi kmi kasi 5 months n mula ng kinasal dpa kmi nakapasa
    dahil sa iba pa requerments na inayos nmin.at un calls records nmin.pls advise us kung dapat ba
    magpasa agad? o okay lang ba  na medyo matagal.we need expert advices.thanks po

there is no time limit when to send it. but when you send it make sure its complete with medicals and all the the original papers that are required like marriage cert, nso, police clerances, birth certificates,  photos  wedding and not wedding and passports pages anything thats shows your communicating with her. goodluck!

As posted by auditman, wala namang timeline kung kelan mo dapat ipasa ang application. Kami, we passed it a week after getting married. Yung iba, years pa bago ipasa. ! So don't worry about that. Ang kelangan mo bigyan ng attention is putting together a strong case for your application. Ibig sabihin dapat maayos lahat ng requirements! Mas importante yun kesa kung kelan mo pinasa ang application after marriage.

    problema lang un call records nmin last month lang kmi nag start using regular line di nmin kasi alam
    that we need it as a proof of communication.pareho  lng k si kmi prepaid cards ginagamit.but we have         
    a letter for eachother pro hndi monthly ako mkapdala. ang wife ko twice a month.since she's in canada
     and that
    time nsa states ako working in a cruiseship kya paibaiba address ko.regular din kmi exchange ng text
    kso dko alam kung pwede ma print ang mga text msgs.

copy paste mo text and send it as an email. if u dont have the call logs yet you can explain it in a short note that you were using prepaids before. its not acceptable proof pero hopefully you have other means of communication naman dba.

    tnk u again auditman,only calls recently thru regularline and some letters way back 5 months ago
    lang meron kmi.aside from that yong western union receipts n pinapadala nya.maybe i need suppor-
    ting letters from our both relatives.is that right? ang hirap tlga isipin pag ang lahat hndi npag hndaan
    we have no idea kasi na we need this.even pictures bgo kmi pakasal wla kmi.we meet twice lng kc
    during our vacation here in phils that was march 2009.nagkataon lng doon kmi nagkakilala.tpos text,
    tawagan at sulatan na kmi.hanggang nag decide pakasal last april 2010 yon 2nd meet namin.

My husband is in Montreal which part of Quebec..we started our application by gathering first all the requiered documents, I took my medical in advance too.then he sent the sponsorship application to Missisauga after it was approved, our papers are forwarded to Quebec then Quebec forwarded it in Manila.
My husband do all the processing, he just sent to me the docu.for signature then I resent it to him.

I am newbie here, its great to have this site  so we can share about our application

I have some question but first of all I wanna share  our timeline.

JUNE 10,2010- application sent to Mississauga
JUNE 14, 2010- application received in Mississauga
AUGUST 16,2010- application sent to manila we got the letter aug,20 but the letter
                         was dated aug. 16  approved my husband to sponsor  me  and the letter
                         said application forwarded in manila


so far..  that's  all  and we are still waiting  for more..I  checked  ECas  too.  Based on my readings in the forum next step would be a passport request, please correct me if I am wrong.. is it normal that I havent heard from them? I am checking some  of the member's time line and its  after a week they received passport request already. and how will they contact  for passport request?  and how should i send my passport.. though a certain shiipping  company like lbc dhl fed ex?

hi  dont worry too much bout passport request. whatever they ask first just make sure to send it to them. My wife says she send it via phil post registered. otheres here uses couriers. they have asked us to various docs. some of their request was via letters and some came via emails. so make sure ti check your email regularly.
