kala ko CFO " Commission of Filipino Overseas" is the agency that gives PDOS " Pre Departure Orientation Seminar"
thats what i thought. umm anyway very unexpected pagdating ng visa ng husband ko.. even sa ecas walang update sakin bigla na lang tumawag ung courier may package daw from embassy.  jan. 05 ang flight nya. Thank God. Goodluck sa mga nag aantay. pasasaan at dadating din yun. Happy new year all. |

anu ba timeline mo? when did you pass ur application. congrats ha!!!!
thank you ....july 2010 pass ko ung form but then bumalik kc maling form so... Aug. 2010( first week ata) missassauga forms sent then a week after i got a letter saying papers are already forwarded in manila office. 2 weeks after ulit my husband got a letter from embassy. tapos mid oct. ata FBI hiningi sa kanya coz he lived in LA. then Nov. he got a call confirming his address and my info. after that wala na kaming narinig from then hanggang sa may tumawag na lang na courier sa kanya nung Dec 17 may package daw from embassy tos ayun na po. sorry d ko kc alam ung mga dates dadating din un sayo dont worry malapit na un  goodluck |

Hello Guys I know it's been a while since I had my last post. Anyway, just a quick update. I arrived here in Manitoba last November 21. So far so good. Sobrang lamig nga lang! hehehe I'll be attending an employment workshop come January, which hopefully may help me with regards to my career development. Congratulations sa lahat lahat ng nakatanggap na ng visa nila! For those who are still in the process or for those who are yet to start the journey, goodluck and always remember... Congratulations to all who have received their DM. And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
I often wonder why their is a big difference from when Manila receives the passport to the DM date.
Some get it in weeks others months. In my case Manila wanted another copy of NSO Marriage contract. They have had it for 14 weeks.
Still no answer. All I can do is hope it will be issued soon.
It is hard for all of us to be separated from our loved ones.

hi filipina hubby ko din anjan sa manitoba...more than two weeks na din akong DM gang ngaun wala pa rin ung visa nmin...c batselei nga meron na nauna pa akong na-dm kaysa sa kanya...what's taking them (the embassy) too long to mail our visas?  |

no more schedule n daw ngaun walk in na daw po sa CFO ngaun.
ay finish na po ako sa CFO, need nalang dikitin ng stciker ang aking passport nag attend na kc ako nun nag renew ako ng passport using my married name ang sabe once i have the visa na punta nalang ako dun for the sticker, ang gusto attenan ung kasama sa kit na free seminar ng CIC sa citibank tower sa Makati |

hi guys, if i understand the kit i received correctly you need to attend a seminar either sa PRISM or sa St Mary's ata un after you will go to CFO show ur certificate that you already attended the seminar then they will give you the CFO sticker na tinitingnan sa airport before you leave. i called CFO and they are open tomorrow. I'm going nga to have my sticker na, i already attended the said seminar when i renewed my passport using my married name. hope this helps. |
