hi actually i have dilemma right now for my situation ...

since i am waiting for my passport return to me with visa...I passed my passport oct 25..and my timeline for the return of it will be within month of december 2010 just in case. And i plan to leave the country on feb 2011 while my gf is preggy and she will give birth on july 2011 and my child will follow under my name.

pls help me what would be the best that i can do? here the options .

1. when i have my passport with visa since i declared it single,i will not go to canada yet.and we will marry until i inform the embassy that i had changed my status ( what will be the effect of my application? it back to zero?)

2. when i have my passport with visa. i will leave the country on feb 2011..and will go back on dec 2011 to get marry and baptism for the child. (what will be the effect of it to my child since it will be followed under my surname and I declared before and after my application is single and no independent child?)I can still get/sponsor my child?

Pls enlighten me...Thank you so much for the help..
 

actually we have the same situation pero pag kaiba naman ako ang nabuntis at umalis nag aantay na ako for request nmn ng processing papers nung naaproved ako buntis n ako then hindi kame kasal ng asawa ko tas nung manganak ako baby ko lang ang in-add ko sa papers d ko alam n pwede na pala ang common-law and pwede pa kame mag pakasal at i-add sya sa papers habang hindi ko pa narereceive ang visa ko. so what we did is baby ko lang na isama ko then naiwan si hubby huminge lang ang embassy ng letter of history relationship namen and then after 1 year umuwi ako last july then pakasal and now approved na ako as sponsorship.

with my brother almost the same nmn kayo ng situations buntis ang gf nya 2 months bago sya umalis pero my visa na sya ngaun uuwi sya sa january para mag pakasal sila yung birth certificate ng bata ipapadala nyo d2 sa canada papirmahan then pa notarized here in canada para pag inapply nyo mag ina mo e naccept mo sya as anak mo. then sa history nyo ikkwento nyo na nung umalis ka hindi mo alam na buntis ang gf mo then continue ang communications nyo then yung birth cert ang makakapag patunay na ina-acknowledge mo yun bata.

 @   lesliteh .. i think same tayo ng situation now..if nakita mo ang timeline ko lapit ng mag 1 month pero still not available pa rin ang ecas ko taz i haven't receive any letter,a call or email from d embassy or passport request if ever datz y im a lil bit worried already coz i dont know wats happening with my application..im praying soo much na sana this coming week meron na akong update..ni AOR ala pa din..anyway from where r u ba?

No income required pero kailangan mo pa rin ipakita na kaya mong suportahan ang asawa mo pagdating nya dito.

Hindi ako sigurado kung gaano katagal bago mo makuha marriage certificate mo sa nso pagkatapos ng kasal nyo.
Yung advisory on marriages naman, mag request ka lang ng cenomar after ng wedding nyo; same form din kase fill out mo pag nasa nso ka.. Pagsabayin mo na lang kunin marriage certificate at advisory on marriages mo..

if youll gonna stay sa pinas kailangan pag dating mo prepared na lahat for ur wedding paayos mo na sa asawa mo ung liscence nyo then para kasala ;nalang.. then after wedding ask the municipal na you have to rushed then mga 2 weeks makukuha mo na yan or kung matagal pwede ikaw na kamo ang mag send sa main para mas mabilis.. kasi ako 2 weeks lang nakuha ko na ang NSO pina rushed ko sa munisipyo nag bayad lang ako.... advisory of marriage you have to get that after the marriage but kailangan makakuha ka muna ng copy ng NSO marriage contract para mag appear na sa AOM na married ka sa ganung name.

i hope dumating na yung letter ko from cic kasi Nov23 nila send kaso lang napansin ko mali ang postal code ko imbes na R3E 1B7 eh ang nakalagay 1V7 haiss... kainis pero sana typo error lang yan, sana bukas my dumating.. guys yung mga nag-sponsor question lang pag DM ba sa step 1 sure na ba na approved un? kinakabahan ako sa letter hehe... pero sana approved 27days lang ang process ng akin eh siguro nmn bihira ang ma deny sa first ako naman kc kumpleto na. then ilang days ba bago makatanggap ng pasport request from manila mula ng na DM d2? sana next week mag request na sa asawa ko  para makahabol naman sa xmas hehe... swertihin sana kame

yup approval na yan for sure...hintayin molang ang letter this week kc it takes at least a week nman bago dumating...
you can also call CIC para i correct ang addr mo kc important yan...sabhin mo nakita mo sa website na mali ang postal code.... its better to be sure, kesa ma miss send ang letter nila.

bago lang ako dito so permanent resident pa lang din. this yr lang ako dumating. from manila hubby ko. around gaun din timeline ko, nakasulat decision made, nov 6 they sent me a letter na qualified ako as sponsor.. yun lang tapos wala na...i just checkd today ganun pa rin. pinapauwi na nga ako ni hubby..

my husband is getting depressed and is asking me to quit my job here, just go home (get out of canada) and wait for the sponsorship there. is that possible? i am a landed immigrant (just this yr), not a citizen so i was thinking that may not be possible...please advise..thanks.

From what I read on here kung permanent resident ka pa lang eh dapat nandito ka sa canada habang pinaprocesspa nila applications nyo..

After maybe 2-3 weeks saka mo pa makikita kung in process na yung permanent residence application status nyo sa ecas..
