Sis I was reading your timeline..how come it took a year from your application to PPR? Did CEM require additional docs from you?

Hi sis, sorry just read your message now, we sent our application to CIC last December 2011, but our mistake we did not take the medicals yet, so ang nangyari they requested us to sent the medical certificate, kaya instead na ma process ng january 2012 yung papers namin eh february 2012 na siya na process kasi nga they waited for the medical results pa to get to CIC, husband was approved as sponsor third week of March 2012 then CIC forwarded  our documents to CEM April 3rd 2012, then they sent the PPR April 4th kaya lang dahil sa napaka bilis ng postal system natin eh nareceived ko na yung PPR April 28, so I sent my passport May 2nd na, kasi May 1st was holiday and CEM received them May 3rd, so technically parang lumalabas nag fofall ng February applicant kami due to delays and 3 months pa lang passport namin sa CEM, but then hopefully within the month or by next month mag ka visa na kami para makahabol sa school opening yung anak ko

Hi sis! san ka ba bound?.. last april pa ung pp niyo sa CEM?.. sana naman hindi prob ung anak natin kung bakit matagal... anak niyo ba ng sponsor niyo ang dependent niyo sis or anak mo xa before?.. ako kasi ung anak ko anak ko xa when I was a single.. so i didnt declare any father's name on my son's birth cert... sana naman its a good advantage sa amin and marelease na ung visa namin very soon..

and ask ako sis, did you pay for your son's right of permanent residence fee?.. CIC was asking us to pay another $490, eh naka bayad na naman kami before nag submit for me as the principal applicant ng app namin and we thought dependents are exempt from paying it so we just paid one... in your case sis ano ginawa niyo?...

Hi sis, sorry fo the late reply, actually we're in the same situation, i was a single mother when i met my hubby and like you, I did not put my son's father's name in his birth certificate kasi that was what the lawyer told me kung may balak pa daw ako mag asawa eh better not to declare the father's name in my son's BC instead just put "unknown", it was a decision na mahirap gawin noon but now I am just so thankful that I did it's an advantage for our visa application kasi the consul does not need to ask letter of consent from the father and just proceed with the processing..

About the RPRF, yap my hubby paid it upfront together with our application, kasi sabi it will cause delays daw pag di binayaran agad yung RPRF, but then I don't think that is true, kasi mas marami dito sa forum ang nagbayad upfront pero mas nauna pa ma released yung visas ng mga hindi pa nagbayad ng RPRF..may bayad talaga ang mga dependent/s, $490 each dependent...Just tell your sponsor to pay it right away and then just fax the receipt or email the receipt for them to continue the processing of your papers..

And lastly, we're bound to Ontario...hopefully within the month or next month marelease na mga visas natin para makahabol sa school opening ang anak ko sa september

Lahat ng passengers arriving sa port of entry sa customs ang diretso kaya dun ka rin pupunta. Hihingin sayo yun passport mo,or minsan pati b4 forms. After non, sasabihan ka nila magproceed sa immigration office. May mga signs naman don or may officer or ground attendant na mag-aassist sa mga new immigrants. Pag dating mo ng immigration office, hihingin nila yun COPR mo. They will ask a few questions like your address here in Canada, name of your spouse..mga ganun. Then they will ask you to sign the COPR. Tapos bibigyan ka ng bag na may mga guides and brochures about Canada and mga list ng organizations na nag-aassist sa mga new immigrants. After non, proceed ka na sa baggage claim. Tapos exit na.

Its ok.. actually Im glad abit about my timeline so far thinking na may baby akong kasama sa app.. we paid $1190 for the sponsor, me as principal applicant, my son and a RPRF... but then last july 18 my hubby recieved a mail asking him to pay for the RPRF again... since we knew that dependent child are exempt from the fee, hindi kami nag bayad instead nag send lang kami ng resibo namin ulit.. Nagbayad ba kayo ng right of permanent residence fee sa babies mo sis?.. I think depende din siguro sis kung matatagalan talaga... depende if my complication din like if your kids biological father was stated in their birth cert or sa mga documents nila.. I think need talaga ivalidate... ung sa baby ko wala kasi talaga siyang record so parang akin lang talaga ang anak ko.. hehe.. Anong batch ka ba sis?.. Tingnan natin kung magkaka visa ako next month ibig sabihin depedents wont really delay the app hehe..

papunta kaming Saskatchewan Sis... dun nakatira ung hubby ko.. oo nga eh.. ang prob namin is baka i hold nila ang processing namin dahil akala nila hindi kami nag bayad.. pero sana naman mabasa nag VO ung resibo na pinadala ko sa PPR ko... hehe... para hindi nila tigilan ang app namin..

Hi! We paid the right of permanent residence fee kasi sabi nila it would expedite the application pero almost everyone pays that ganun pa rin naman ang processing time.
I requested an affidavit from their biological father and also waiver para walang problema.
I'm Feb. applicant Sis. PPR last June 13 and sent passport July 2 kaya waiting na din kami for visa. May na approve na ahead of me kaya I got worried:) but goodluck to both of us sis!:) thanks..
