Hindi ko rin alam kung last stage ba yan kasi yung iba yatang vo kung hindi pa kumpleto yung background check so yung iba chinecheck nila. With me completo na background check/criminal check, medicals check, fees check. Sabi nila nung month ng  May my file is queued for review so sabi ng MP namin approval stage na daw kami. Eh mg 2 months na antagal so pabalik-balik ako basa ng basa ng CAIPS notes namin looking for some clues or something that will explain why it is taking them so long. Meron akong nakita dun due date 12/9/11 ewan ko if it makes sense na ang tingin ko dun eh around september pa sila ngbigay ng due date kung kelan ako bibigyan ng decision. According sa MP namin background/criminal checks are cleared, medicals are valid, fees are all paid. So I guess kailangan kong pagpasensyahan pagpopowertrip ng vo ko. Kasi anung petcha na?? Geez!!! Make up your mind na!!!!!! Seriously, I really dont understand the hold-up in the decision.  

Hi sis! sabi ng VO namin complete na daw initial process and they are still reviewing it saka 12 months talaga sis sabi ng VO so by Sept mag 12 months na...huhuh, yon dati yan nong hindi pa sila nagrequest ng RCMP clearance.Tapos last mid of June din nag email asawa ko tapos nagreply CEM nong isang araw lang sabi, I will be informed in due course for the remed kasi nga nag expire na medical ko tagal na din more than 15 months na kasi maaga ako nagpamedical.Naisip din namin kasi nga naman inaantay nila ang clearance na ito sis.....Cge lang Sis, wag tayo susuko.Talagang sobra sobra na! In God's time Sis ibibigay sa tin yan.

mga sis and bro, i hope somebody can help me.  i will have an interview for a job in dubai and the agency assured me that i can leave the country asap.  actually i passed my resume` para hindi lang ako mabored and i can work while waiting for the finality of my annulment, eventually marriage and passing/processing for visa.  can i possibly use my philippine address as my permanent as well as postal address, although i will state in my employment history/addresses since i was 18 years old, this accountant job in dubai.  thanks.

Yes, since it is your permanent address, you can use it anytime at all.
If you apply for visa prior to going to Dubai, then your soon-to-be job in Dubai should not be part of your employment history.
However, if you apply for a visa while you are already working in Dubai, then it should reflect on your employment history that you are currently working in Dubai up to present.

That is how I see it. Just my two cents.

It was only 10months after we met when we had the wedding. Everything went fast from meeting, engagement to wedding.

Thankfully, God has been gracious our visa processing went fast and smooth. We celebrated our 1st year wedding anniversary here in Canada 5months after I landed. Now we're almost in to our 2nd.

It's really not into how long you've been married or known each other. It's how you can prove and convince the visa officer that your relationship is genuine.

And based on the other forumers post before, if you got all the proof of the relationship, then the reason why the process takes soooo long must be because of the visa officer holding your case. There are those who are very strict.

I know how hard to wait and go through this visa process. But I hope that those who are waiting will get theirs soon. God bless.

Thanks msrh for your word of support and encouragement! I'm pretty sure my husband's application is getting delayed for some other reason - he did work outside of the Philippines for a long time. I sincerely believe it's not because we've only been married for a year. Timeline is a factor but not the only one. It could be for no reason at all too!  It would make the wait "easier" though, if I knew what's causing the delay. I say easier coz at least I'd know why they're slow. Not that it would justify it.
