Di ba 9 months ang standard processing time ng CEM based on their website?Reply ng VO  kasi sa MP namin it's still within the 12months standard processing time.Can we ask again the MP for follow up and send her the link regarding the timeline? At least if the MP will know he's gonna be more pushy..What do you think?

Hello forumers! Just wanted to ask if you sent originals of your evidences such as boarding passes, receipts, phone bills etc.? Is it better to keep the originals and send photocopies instead?

Also, meron ba sa inyo natawag na for interview? What questions did the VO ask and what should we prepare just in case mapatawag din for interview?

i had an interview, its all about your relationship with the sponsor, like how, when, where did you first met, about the wedding so on and so for..

u think so? kasi parang antagal na. grabe sana nga rani kasi as in super drained na talaga kami ni hubby, emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.

We just got a response from our MP.... Our medicals are valid, background checks are finalized, fees have been paid all were waiting for is a decision from our Visa officer (which probably might take forever ). We were advised to follow-up again on September. I don't know what else they need. This is really getting too frustrating        

hi emrn! actually you can ask your MP to specifically ask if your visa will be issued before your medical will expire. Ganyan ang ginawa ng MP namin. Nagset din kami ng target date with our MP kung hanggang kelan kami maghihintay ng response/update from CEM. He actually told us to wait for a few more days before nya i-contact ang CEM but i was firm with my request na i-email nya ang CEM sa araw na ni-request ko. Nag follow up sya ng nagfollow up sa CEM, ayun minadali ung visa ng husband ko.

I think in one of the application forms, there's a question there whether the applicant was denied entry to Canada. I indicated the date and the reason I was denied. Wala naman naging problema sa sponsor approval. Just waiting now for my visa. Have been waiting for more than 2 months from the time I submitted my passport and additional documents.

These are the documents I submitted:

*Fully Completed Appendix A (attached) for me and each of my family members, whether accompanying to Canada or not. ( I'm the only one being sponsored)

*Original and valid NBI certificate with dry seal and right thumb print

*Personal history details from age 18 to present (this is quite long)

*Original NSO marriage certificate (We initially submitted the SECPA copy because our marriage certificate wasn't available yet at that time December 2011)

*Original Passport(s) for me and each family member who will accompany me to Canada (Again, I'm the only)

you said frustating? my wife applied in december 2010 and we are waiting to know the decision from the Manila visa office. Now, 19 months!!!!!!!.

Yes, additional documents/information requirements ang nakalagay sa letter ng CEM. Actually, two of those documents were initially included in our application package, i.e. appendix A and the personal history details. Nagtataka nga kami bakit pinasubmit ako uli ng mga ito. I also expected that we would be required to submit the original NSO marriage certificate. Hindi pa ito available when we sent our application to CPC-M. Ang talagang bago lang ay ang NBI cert. and passport. All additional documents were required to be submitted within 45 days from the date of the letter.

In addition, my husband was also required to submit his divorce petition.
