6 years ago a filipina was deported for misrepresentation ( same case as above). Our mayor even intervene as she works with him to take care of his mother but to no avail. I don't know if they( immigration)softened on this but it pays to be truthful in filling out documents especially immigration stuff. As I said this was 6 years ago and things might changed now and hiring a good lawyer will help.

. . anyway i dont have a choice but to go... it's for my own sake din naman.

Hi KMAEP, Sorry for the inappropriate words but your friend's case is a classic case of misrepresentation... If he will continue to pursue sponsoring his family and immigration finds out that he lied in his PR application he may be subjected to removal order or deportation. Worse if he is a citizen already.. his citizenship maybe revoke.  Sad Sad

Hi wolverine,

I think in ur case Kung single Ka pa until the time na nagka decision sa previous application mo, ok Lang un Kung 'single' status ang dineclare mo... Kasi nabuntis and nagka anak nmn gf mo after your visa was issued na. Unless nagsasama na kayo ng gf mo previously, kahit Hindi married, Kung pasok un as conjugal or common law dpat nasabi un sa application. Pero Kung gf Lang talaga ok lang.

For kmaep's friend, I agree with what the others said na may big probability na ma cancel un visa niya Kasi Hndi niya dineclare un totoo sa application.

If Tama understanding ko, sa case ni wolverine, his circumstances changed after visa issuance while for the other one, un na talaga situation niya before pa mag apply

Just my pov Lang po Smiley

I agree.. kung gf lang noong umalis sya noong May 2011.. I believe hindi misrpresentation yon.. So kung umuwi yong guy at nagpakasal dahil nagka baby sila.

In fact it takes months to process working visa or any visa. So noong pinaprocess ang visa ng guy before May2011 ay baka hindi pa buntis si GF so baka hindi nila alam na magkakababy sila.

Sabi nya po nanganak wife nya august 2012?Huh?or 2011??? Tas nagpunta sya ng Canada ng May. By the tIme na in process yung pr application nya buntis na gf nya. Medyo complicated ang case kasi alam na nyang magkakababy sya habang pinaprocess pa lang application nya at hindi nakadeclare sa application nya yung baby at gf (which can be considered common law). Baka magkaprob sya. He should hire an immigration lawyer.

Bottom line is kung nagsinungaling ba sya (misrepresentation) o hindi. Or honest mistakes within reasons...

Normally, after CEM received your application they will update the ECAS to show they already received the application... After receiving they will check the completeness of you application... like RPRF,  AOM, and Medical result etc... pag may kulang mag re-request sila minsan kasama sa  PPR and Appendix A..    After nun... "Medical results have been received" lalabas sa ecas tapos..... long waiting time probably due to background and security check ....then aftern nun may lalabas sa ecas na   "We started processing your application on.... "  Pag lumabas ito.. more often than not.. malapit na ang DM...  Wink Wink Wink

Hi po.. Actually nakatanggap na po ng letter sa pinas yung asawa ko last Feb asking for his passport, Appendix A, Personal history and Certificate from NSO (I forgot what it was but it's not out marriage certificate) anyway, he sent all the documents last Mar 1st.

I think many of us Manila applicants are in the same boat. PPR in Feb. Ecas only application received and medical received etc. Probably one day soon maybe we all get updated on the same day lol. Smiley My instinct is telling me this weekend will be the time.

To get a clear picture of your situation, I have several questions:

1. What kind of application did you do when you first emigrated to Canada? Under Family Class ba or PNP/Skilled Worker?

2. When your application was being processed then, were you aware that your girlfriend is pregnant that time? You said she gave birth on AUGUST 2012???or was it AUGUST 2011?? Then you came to Canada on May. Pregnancy takes 9 months so I assume that while you were waiting for a response for your application, your girlfriend was already pregnant.

3. Did you notify the Canadian Immigration about your status that time? Even if your girlfriend hadn't given birth, you should have informed the Canadian Immigration about your status because you know you are expecting a child and when the child arrives, the child will be considered your dependent. If you did not inform Immigration about you expecting a child, then you might encounter problems when you decide to sponsor your child.

4. About your girlfriend, now your wife, did you live together at least one year before you came to Canada? To be able to declare a common-law relationship, you and your partner should have lived together for AT LEAST a year. If you did live at least a year, and you did not mention this on your application, that is going to be another problem for you when you sponsor her.

CIC is getting tough on screening applications so I suggest you seek professional advice. We may not have all the answers for you, or maybe some may have, but it is better if you consult an immigration lawyer or immigration consultant to get you a better understanding of your case and what to expect and what should be done.

hi dadaem..thanks

To get a clear picture of your situation, I have several questions:

1. What kind of application did you do when you first emigrated to Canada? Under Family Class ba or PNP/Skilled Worker?

I applied here in canada under PNP ...

2. When your application was being processed then, were you aware that your girlfriend is pregnant that time? You said she gave birth on AUGUST 2012???or was it AUGUST 2011?? Then you came to Canada on May. Pregnancy takes 9 months so I assume that while you were waiting for a response for your application, your girlfriend was already pregnant.

sorry typo error ..she gave birth aiugust 2011 pala.. my gf didn't tell me that she was pregnant on that time until i arrived here in canada that was the time she told me that she was preggy

3. Did you notify the Canadian Immigration about your status that time? Even if your girlfriend hadn't given birth, you should have informed the Canadian Immigration about your status because you know you are expecting a child and when the child arrives, the child will be considered your dependent. If you did not inform Immigration about you expecting a child, then you might encounter problems when you decide to sponsor your child.

no..i didn't notify the CIC because i dont have any idea on that time until such time na narealize ko dapat nainform ko sila at marami na ko nameet na tao dito na kung ano dpat gawin kasi yung fmaily ko na nagspinsor sa akin ay di rin alam gagawin..

4. About your girlfriend, now your wife, did you live together at least one year before you came to Canada? To be able to declare a common-law relationship, you and your partner should have lived together for AT LEAST a year. If you did live at least a year, and you did not mention this on your application, that is going to be another problem for you when you sponsor her.

n, my gf and I did not live together..we lived in our woh houses..we are just purely lovers.. Grin

CIC is getting tough on screening applications so I suggest you seek professional advice. We may not have all the answers for you, or maybe some may have, but it is better if you consult an immigration lawyer or immigration consultant to get you a better understanding of your case and what to expect and what should be done.

Para in the future ma sponsor mo ang asawa at anak mo..
