Kmusta sa lahat ng forum members.. Me tanong lang sana ako at sana ma advise ako ng iba na me similar experience sa processing ng Conjugal/ SPousal sponsorship..eto po ang timeline namin:
May 8,2011 --Submit application to Mississauga
June 8,2011 -- Sponsorhip approved
June 27, 2011-- File transferred to CEM Manila
June 28th-- meds results received at Manila CEM
July 12,2011- Passport requests and Appendix A
August 8th - Passport submitted and Appendiz A received by CE Manila
since August wala na kaming nareceive na update from CIC..Our ECAS status since June 27th,2011 says
We received your application --June 27,2011
Medical Results have been received - June 27
Its almost 6mos na since file has been transferred to CIC Manila and 4 months since we submitted the passport and Appendix A. I sent an email last end of OCtober just to check if they did recieved the passport and appendix A pero no response sila. It says on the CIC website " applications are being processed on a 10 month average and you may not get a response if your application falls on the average processing time"
My question: Is it advisable to drop in at the CIC in Manila to follow up or get an update at this point? Pauwi kasi ako this December 30th till mid january 2012..we just want to know kung ano pa kaya requirements nila since since August that we submitted appendix a and passport eh wala na silang ni require to submit or even an update on ECAS..
Any advise or comment would be highly appreciated mga ka forum..

Forummates, i need help and inputs..I got an interview schedule on february 23,2011..i just an update from my ECAS today..Ano ba mga usual questions nila? To those that were interviewed before they got their Visa's please help.Please give us an advise on probable questions the VO may ask me..

Hi Autumnal equinox,
Honestly, I really dont know why it takes so long,me and my husband are really quite worried now about it.. And btw,we're both Filipino and he's already a Canadian Citizen.. Maybe you're right it depends on VO. Kame din naman we do have genuine relationship. Nakakafrustrate na nga eh,masyado na kame madameng pinagdaanan dalawa na magkalayo kame and everyday is getting harder. I think our application is one of the longest and worst until now " medical received" pa din.. But this situation thought us both to have more conviction and faith to each other... I am still hoping and praying. God's time will come for us to those who's still waiting to start a new life with our spouse...
