Informing CIC of any changes

Consult the table below to know how to inform us of any changes following the submission of your application:

If there are any changes to your family status such as:

marriage;
divorce;
births;
deaths; or
any other important information.
Inform us immediately by email at:
CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca

Note: Clearly state your name, date of birth and Universal Client Identification (UCI) or file number which is found at the top of the acknowledgment letter, if you received one from CPC-M.

As per the CIC guidelines above, re: informing of any changes, i'd inform them of your being employed, if i were you, as it is (i think) a very important and relevant info, since it could substantiate your capacity, as sponsor, to provide for your spouse and children when they are here. just a piece of my mind.

i am the sponsor. a few weeks ago when i submitted our application package i just arrived here in Calgary and was still looking for a job. so my status in the apps were unemployed and just provided an explanation on how i am supporting myself and submitted letters from parents and relatives here that they will help me out for the meantime and proof that i am sending out applications.

a few days ago i got hired and already started. shall i send a mail to CPC-M to inform them that I already have a job? i mean, i know it is not required to have a minimum income if sponsoring only a spouse but i think it may help sponsorship approval if they are assured that i am already employed. would they be able to trace my app package from the letter without a Client ID yet  ?

Actually they don't really need your bank statement but if your Canadian citizen what they want is an employment letter, pay stubs if you have them and Option C paper from Canada Revenue, it's easy to get the Option C paper you just call Canada Revenue and ask them u need the Option C and it's free to get and that paper shows what u made last year

TYVM. I have another question though regarding the application process. Is it mandatory for the applicant to send the completed forms to the sponsor first, and the sponsor to forward all the completed documents including his to Mississauga even though there is an authorized representative?

BTW, what is Option C? Is that the "T4" form? TY

hi! just wanna ask something...
our application is AINP - family stream, we received our AOR and paid  RPRF last Sept 2, 2012 and we already did our medicals last jan 11, 2012... does anybody know what else would CEM or VO require us to submit? Will they still require us to provide bank statements/funds? Can anybody please give me an idea, so i can prepare whatever they"ll ask us...thanks!!!!!

Yes, applicant must send documents to Sponsor.
Please check all areas requiring signature, some areas require both signatures.

really how they do it is it from ip address i have really  tried many times. what if im gonna reset my modem...ok i will do it its really boring for w8ting.. i almost finish reading the post starting 2009 til present got headache from it......

Thanks! Hinihingi nila ang PC abroad and they gave me 45days  . Sayo ba kasama ba ang PPR request nung natanggap mo ang AOR by post? Kasi gusto ko sana isabay nalang isend ang PC ko kapag dumating ang PPR request ko para sabay kaya lang unfortunately wala pa.

sa akin pinili if my old passport stamp entrance/exit if not exceed 6 month or police clearnce..  so submit ng hubby ko ang passport lng kasi hindi naman ako exceed sa 6 month visa which states on the sticker umuwi ako 3 or 2 days before... pero the way they gave a visa bakit may extension for 3 days sumunod lng ako sa sticker na for 6 month visa... we dont know yet if they will ask police hubby and i w8 for their response....

Option C is a printout of your taxes from the previous year and it is one of the papers they ask for you to submit, you don't have to give them your most recent T4 all you need is to give them your Option C paper, employment letter and any recent work stubs and that's it

actually hindi ko alam how they count it but i just follow the sticker for 6 month visa but im not exceed to the expiry date so hindi ako more than six month stay from other country

newbie po ako dito at bihira po ako mag online at di ko po alam gumawa ng timelime, pero gusto ko po i share ang latest sa case ko...medyo, ok lang naman kasi kadarating ko lang dito sa Pinas para hintayin ang papers ko so all this time kasama ko asawa ko dun sa canada and we are hoping that we will recieve the visa soon.

Oct 28,2011- docs submitted to CPC-M
Jan 10,2012- Sponsor approved
Jan 26,2012- Req for additional docs
Feb 7,2012- Passport requested
Feb 13,2012- passport submitted
