yeah my husband is still waiting for the embassy's request for additional docu. we've been waiting since nov.24 in which i was approved for sponsorship. i never from my husband about a call from embassy or any missed call. i dont know. whats happening hmm

ask ko lng po...last DEC.22,2011....DM na ung PR application ng mother ko,,,ang sabi sa letter eligible daw po xa para sa application at kokontakin daw ung mga anak nia ng CEM...how long po maghhntay ung mga dependents na may dumating na papers galing immigration....hope you reply po...tnx

thank you nester, pag land ko dito sa canada at pag open ko a week after i land, not available na. hindi ko alam bakit. o baka they are now procesing my PR card. o ewan, o baka maintenance nga. antay nlng ako. thank you ha. God bless.

e kung landed ka na pala e di na sakop ng e-cas yun dahil completed ka na. Yung sa PR card, direct ka na makipagtransact sa CIC kahit tumawag ka araw-araw e wla na problema yun di gaya ng sa processing na idedelay ka. Processing lang ng application ang coverage ng e-cas hanggang malanded ka.

Yung PR card dadating na lang by mail dun sa address na nilagay  sa copr, within 3 months.

do you mean hindi pa PR yung mother mo at sabay sa application nya ang sponsorship? Ganyan kasi yung sa caregiver. Yung application kit from CEM dadating mga one month more or less, after initial approval/DM.

Magkaiba kasi ang processing times ng sabay na PR application (sponsor and dependents), tsaka yung PR/citizen ang sponsor. Anyway, nasa CIC website yung processing times.

Just be sure na nakalista sa application niya yung iisponsoran niya dahil limited lang dun ang pwede iisponsor.

Hello to all,

I am a Canadian man married to a Filipina.
We are awaiting our visa to be issued.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has received the documents from the Manila embassy...

1) In appendix A the form is asking for a list of DEPENDANTS even if they are not coming to Canada.
It includes columns... the  first is Applicant, the second is spouse, then Child1, Child2 etc
My wife and I are confused about filling this out. Does it need me and my children listed on it if we are living in Canada already? They are my children and she would be considered the step-mother.

2) How many passport photos do they require?

3) Is it a good idea to courier all the documents requested?

4) Any idea how long of a wait it will be after they have received her passport?

November 4/2011 sponsor approved
December 20/2011 application received in Manila
Jan 5/2012 letter requesting passport, nso, and appendix A received dated Dec 21/2011
we will be sending in the passport and docs on Monday, Jan 9/2012

Hello There!

1. Am not sure on this. We'd better wait for the other senior members to respond.

2. Regarding on photos..does it stated on the Additional Documents needed? If it's not kindly disregard it.

3.  Regarding on courier.where are you located by the way? If its near the embassy, i suggest you to drop by but if's not..it's better to send it via LBC or any courier you two preferred.

4. On how long the visa will going to issue--it still a mystery to all of us here waiting for it..Experiences vary from days, weeks and months.. It's really depend on the Visa Officer that handling the papers.

Wow more than a month na.... ano ung steps that have you done so far? Saan ba yung husband mo... Min Vis Man? Sa amin nang wify ko is mag 3 weeks na.... Hopefully this week ma received na namin....

Question sa mga members diba naka sabi you have 45 days to response sa mail nang embassy? Ano ung pinaka ma tagal na delay na na e record dito sa forum?

malas namin coz sa nationwide kami nagpunta, ung med report mkkuha pa lang namin sa dec 23, kahapon nagpamed hubby ko. for our case ok lang kasi sa january pako bbalik sa Canada so we have time to "kill"

None so far, i mean my husband called the post office, then i emailed CEm 2 days ago. and ofcorz just waiting and waiting. i dont know i hope meron na next week. VIsayas kami. how bout u?

Are u the sponsor? If u are the sponsor then u are already approve to sponsor ur spouse.

Good news yan it means that approved na ang sponsor kung stage 1 or approved na ang applicant naman kung stage 2 alin sa dalawa Congratulation...!!!

current processing time given on the website for CEM is 10 months, family class.
