hi.. im new in here but i've been reading posts a few months ago. My dad applied for Family Sponsorship last year and this march 2010, the process started here in Manila. we had our medicals last June 7, 2010 and received our Passport Request last September 30, 2010. My dad sent our Passports via courier last october 4, 2010, and last November 2, 2010, our e-Cas status has changed to "Medicals have been received. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you regarding this decision."

My question is, is there a possibility that a family member is not approved? Because I already turned 22 last March 2010, and I worry that they might not approve my application. 2 weeks before we received the passport request, they asked for my registration form from school (because im currently taking my graduate studies   @  UP Diliman).

as long as you are a student and dependent  and you dont have a family of your own your still good to go.. thats why they asked your registration form just to know if you are still enrolled, please see blue fonts, i hope it will give u some relief  congrats you have your visa soon..

    * is under the age of 22 and does not have a spouse or common-law partner
    * is a full-time student and is substantially dependent on a parent for financial support since before the age of 22, or since becoming a spouse or common-law partner (if this happened before age 22) or
    * is financially dependent on a parent since before the age of 22 because of a disability.

Hi guys!

Just got a call from the embassy. They were asking about my address kasi nga DAPO BOX yung sa akin. I just informed them that I'll be changing my mailing address na lang so ayun ipapadala daw nila sa Monday and then either Tuesday or Wednesday darating dito sa amin.

Sayang nga eh kasi dapat ngayon daw naipadala. Pero anyway, atleast parating na!

nakuha na po namin passport and visa pero may konti problem.. sa lahat documents ng asawa ko STA. CRUZ ang nakalagay pero sa visa niya and confirmation of landed residence SANTA CRUZ... nag aalala kami baka magkaproblem kung nasa airport na siya sa pinas or dito sa canada...

ano po ba pedi gawin namin?kainis naman.. i sent email pa 2months ago about the family name pero mukhang hindi din naman nila pinapansin mga concerns ng mga applicant.

i think thats ok coz my mom e MA. YOLANDA  so sa visa nya is MARIA YOLANDA kasi d2 po sa canada hindi po sila nagamit nyan kaya ok lang po yan wala problema  kahit ang Jr. wala na po d2, binuboo po talaga nila kasi d nila maiintindihan and kung d ako nag kakamali sa likod nya yata ng COPR my nakasalutat na hindi sila nagamit ng MA. or Jr. dko matandaan eh pero ok lang yan for sure.

waiting pa din hehe kaya always ako nasa forum hehe... nauna ka pa saken e oct. 1 ka nag pasa ako oct 20 kaso sinamang palad dumating ng oct27 hehe.. but thats ok atleast d nawala papers.. nakaka inip mag antay.. yung time line ko nasa signature ko po

oo batch tayo hehedapat last month pa ako nag pasa kaso kakabalik kjo lang last month eh galing pinas eh wala pa ko work pag balik eh kaya ayan tumagal. atleast ikaw nasa 2nd step kana.
