dont you worry its ok.. kahit di mo ilagay.. di naman mandatory na ilagay mo UCI number mo, kaya lang naman nilalagay yun para mas madaling matukoy kung kaninong application yun.. nung ako nag pass ganun din walang UCI number but di naka affect sa application.. kaya dont be sad.. di naman major major problem yun...

i think it's ok iambjohn, the letter the CEM sent to me does not indicate my province...only my street, city and country ang nandoon....pero i received it maski walang province...
Halos same tyo ng timeline. Wla prn ako PPR til now. Sakin kasi they started processing my PR app on Nov. 19, 2011.

the letter was dated november 22...then nov. 25 ko na notice na home address was added to e-cas (i check my e-cas everyday, khit walang galaw nangyari)....sa envelope  Makati post office nakatatak nov. 24...i guess, maybe, after they had send the letter tsaka nila ina update ang e-cas...as what i had observed on my application ..Smiley...

Hi..usually Tuesday and Thursday nag-a-update CEM and mostly even weekends meron sila posting ng VISA result...eCAS not 100% accurately may delay talaga, but somehow it might help you to know what's happening to your application..nakaka-praning nga lang..samahan nyo lang lagi ng prayers...dont ever get tired asking for miracle...prayers can move the mountains...somehow mapapasa-atin din yung request natin sa kanya...it took time nga lang minsan, pero patience lang kailangan natin.  Happy waiting and keep smiling.

The VO is asking for a hard evidence that my sponsor will return to Canada if the PR visa is issued to me. Huh You see, my medical will expire na in January so the VO is in a hurry to process our application however, the VO is hesitant to grant the VISA due to over staying of my Fil-Canadian sponsor here in the Philippines.  To give you a little background,  our PR application was received by CEM  in February 2011. My sponsor and I are leaving together here in the Philippines for 4 years going 5 years na.

My sponsor is been away in Canada for that spans of years and this situation post a problem on the Visa officer. The VO is asking for a hard evidence that my sponsor will return to Canada once PR visa is approve.  The only evidence we can think of is to book a plain ticket or BUY a plain ticket and send this as evidence to VISA officer. May ibang evidence pa ba na pwedeng i-submit?? Baka may naiisip pa kayo..

Ang problem namin is the Canadian passport of my sponsor already expired last September. We need the passport to buy or book for a plane ticket. Nag apply na ang sponsor ko to renew the passport pero matatagalan pa bago dumating kaya we are planning to apply for a LIMITED VALIDITY PASSPORT sa Canadian Consulars Office

After the VO called, my sponsor was told and given 30 days to submit the evidence... Clarify ko lang. The Canadian embassy will still send an official letter for their request of evidence right? and the letter contains the 30 days dead line... right? SO the 30 days will count from the day when we receive the letter or email right?  Huh Huh Huh

Sana may makasagot sa mga tanong ko.. Thanks!

Thank you!
Puwede na pala kumuha anytime.
Wala ba expiration date yun?

Ito ba yung tracker na hinahanap mo:

Hi MGM.

i was researching on the application for driver's license in Ontario.  here is what i got with regard to the certification.

Applicants declaring a minimum of 24 months driving experience within the preceding three years:

To obtain recognition for more than 12 months driving experience, applicants are required to obtain written authentication of their foreign driving experience from the originating licensing agency, or from the Embassy, Consulate or High Commissioners' offices representing the jurisdiction. The authentication letter must be on official letterhead and be written in either English or French. It must be dated and cannot be more than 6 months old. If the Authentication Letter is in a language other than English or French, it must be accompanied by a Letter of Translation from a qualified translator.
The ministry will recognize the applicant's foreign driving experience as certified on the authentication letter.
Applicants have the option of attempting either the G2 or G exit road tests (mandatory wait times are waived) when a valid "Letter of Authentication" indicating a minimum of 24 months of foreign driving experience is submitted.
If the applicant chooses to attempt the G2 road test and successfully completes it, the applicant will then be eligible to attempt the G road test.
Upon successfully passing the G exit road test, applicants will be issued a G licence.
If applicants do not provide a letter of authentication, applicants must pass the G2 road test and must fulfill the 12-month waiting period prior to taking G road test.

Best not to get the certificate yet until you get your visa. as for me, i need to get a new certificate because it shouldnt be more than 6 months old.

FYI Nester.

Requirements for getting the LTO certificate is just your valid DL. you fill out the form there and pay 100 pesos sa LTO. Release will be at DFA Manila.

canadian passport po yung nawala at nandito sya sa pinas.

reading through the immigration rules, mas mahirap kumuha ng limited validity passport kaysa regular passport. Secondly, why apply for it e hindi naman revoked or suspended yung passport niya for cause which is subject of denial/suspension of passport services, or wala namang urgent and compelling humanitarian reason. Thirdly, he has a pending request for replacement which he can ask for immediate processing/release instead dahil may immediate need.

Yung sa 30 days, i believe the letter you are waiting for have the same date as when the VO called you up. Ang timelines nila ay based sa date ng letter, not when you receive it. It is up to you to justify kung madedelay ka pagsubmit. But having prior knowledge dahil tumawag nga sila, you cannot use that as excuse.

I think what you can do is to follow-up in writing the replacement application, attaching a copy of the letter of the VO to justify the need of immediate processing and release. Emphasize the limited time granted to you, and that he will travel within 2 weeks upon release. madali nang ilusot yang 2 weeks na yan pag hawak na ang passport.

Then write CEM, attaching a copy of your follow-up letter, and execute an affidavit of undertaking that he will make arrangements to return to canada within 2 weeks after release of the passport. At that point, going to canada is already a must. A plane ticket will not do as proof....kahit sino pwede kumuha nyan at icancel later on.

So while the passport is not yet released, CEM/CIC cannot take this against you. Anyway, the affidavit will be a strong evidence against your husband to revoke his citizenship pag di niya tinupad ang nakasulat dun.

Thanks for the advise Nester, concerning limited validity passport my sponsor was asked by the VO if he tried applying for one instead of waiting for the normal passport processing. This goes without saying that applying for limited validity passport is possible. Anyway, we will know this next week once we talk to Canadian Consul.

Medyo nakaka inis lang yung VO since... obvious naman sa mga supporting documents na pinasa namin na impossible talagang maka balik agad sa Canada yung sponsor ko since he's still waiting for his Citizenship card replacement and it will take another 2-3 weeks more to apply for a new passport.   Parang mga inconsiderate sila sa situation namin...  The point that my sponsor applied to renew the passport is a clear indication that my sponsor will return to Canada... Dont know bakit di nila ma-accept  yun...  Angry
