at the cfo website i should be on the list of Fiancee, Spouse and other partners of foreign nationals right? because my husband is pure canadian?
As Filipinos going abroad as fiancé(e)s, spouses or other partners of foreign nationals, you are required to attend the CFO's guidance and counseling session in order to secure the Guidance and Counseling Certificate (GCC) and the CFO sticker. You need this certificate to renew or apply for a new passport at the Department of Foreign Affairs (per Department of Foreign Affairs Order Nos. 11-97 Implementing Rules and Regulations for Republic Act 8239, "Philippine Passport Act" and 28-94). You will also need to present this certificate together with your spouse/partner visa, at the Immigration office at the international airport on your day of departure.
To attend the seminar, you may proceed to either two of CFO's service providers: the St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation-Center for Overseas Workers (SMEF-COW) or the People's Reform Initiative for Social Mobilization, Inc. (PRISM).
You will have to bring with you the required documents to be accommodated in the counseling seminar. The counseling session runs for a minimum of two hours and is meant to provide you with adequate information regarding inter-marriage and migration, the cultural and social realities abroad as well as available support networks for women in distress, among others.

I'll ask her to do this ASAP. So magkakaroon din pala sya ng sarili nyang UIC. Akala ko yung pinadala lng saken ng CIC-M would be the only file number we were getting.

congrats spouse87  God is so good. Sa taguig din po ako sana parating narin yung visa. Pero baka January pko umalis ng Pinas kasi may work pa. May question po ako sa PDOS ok lng ba na itake ko sya ng 1st week ng December kahit last week ng January pa alis ko? Thanks |

ang pagkakabasa ko po pwede na kayo umattend ng seminar tapos bumalik na lang pag may visa na para magparegister sa cfo. ako din nga po dec1 pa effective date pero gusto ng asawa ko wag ko na antayin yung 30day notice sa may 5 2012 pa expiration nung visa ko kaya marami pa ko time pero gusto ko na umalis agad! Makukuha mo na din sayo! |

Sana tuloy tuloy ang pagDDM, para sa mga naiwan pang naghihintay ng visa lalo na kina prettyboy, ailvin, nester at syempre si andeng24 plus the rest of the June applicants tapos July apps na!!! Pag marami na ang visa sticker ang kailangan, dapat na nila i ddeliver ang mga passport kasi marami na ang naka pila hehehe.... God bless po sa lahat na naghihintay. Pray natin na ma DM na kayo para masaya ang pasko. |
