pero DM na po ba ung ecas mo? sa mga nababasa ko na straightforward cases usualy 1-2 months from PPR to DM.. may nabasa din ako 2 weeks lang pero 2010 pa un.. anyways malapit na po yan, ur on ur 5th month na so malapit na po cguro, and if evr parating na, considered na fairly mabils parin ung sa inyo pero tama nakakainip tlga bawat araw mahalaga. nkklungkot ka coz 68 days na daw to get sponsorship approval when it used to be 30 days lang. hoping sana bumils ulit next yr pag kami naman ang mag apply

Hello kabayan i am also prcoessing from Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy my application was received last December 21.2010 but untill now i still did not hear from them,they did told me when they sent the AOR that it will take 6-12 months for the processing,how about you?hope we can help updates each other here.

actual manila timelines show 3 to 4 months for many. Anyway, just make sure you will stay long enough in abu dhabi up to conclusion of processing; and that employer is willing to release the passport when the need comes. That's better than being idle in the philippines, where others were not as lucky enough to get the visa in a short time.

PROBLEM:

"Kunwaring nakaenroll" ang panganay kong anak sa isang kolehiyo (he's now 25, working in Manila, pero pinalabas namin sa Embassy na "currently enrolled" siya) (binayaran namin yung school para mapalabas na continuous ung studies ng anak ko, graduate na siya ng 4 years (college) pero kunwari namin siyang inenroll sa isang school para tuloy tuloy, kasi according sa rules, dapat "continuous ang studies, at continuous ang financial support). Dahil binayaran namin ung school, naibigay naman namin sa Canadian Embassy-Manila ung mga Transcript of Records from that school. After ilang months nakapag medical na din siya together with my husband and my other 20 year old son.

QUESTION:
1) Is it POSSIBLE na pumunta ang Embassy Staff sa school na un to check my son if andun siya? (he's working now in Makati, and the school is in the province)
2) IF NAHULI na we faked or lied, sa pagiging "currently enrolled" ng anak ko, DENIED na ba pati papers ng husband and my other son?

Any answers are highly appreciated.

Hi your son is already working right? May I ask if your son already has an SSS? Kasi according to an immigration agency, considered as "Independent" na siya once he has an SSS... So hopefully the embassy wont check everything...

Sponsorship application for dependent child ONLY cover the age from 19 to 22 years old (under IP2 section 5.8  ) At what age did you you file the sponsorship of your son?  IF you filed the sponsorship when he was 22 yo then...  valid pa rin yung application nyo as dependent child even though he is 25 yo now.

For dependent children, ONLY the AGE is locked-in not the dependency (IP2 section 5.17) However,  If you file the sponsorship when your son is 23 yo or above, he no longer qualifies as your dependent child.

Hi "Raniloc" I filed my sponsorship ( July 2011) when my daughter was 24 yrs old. She finished her school last March this year. She is currently in school. I was approved to sponsor  and embassy already asked her PP.

hi everyone, been lurking around the july august september 2011 applicants thread and i noticed that average time from app sent to sponsorship approved is now around 66 days?? ung mga 2010 and early 2011 timelines na nakkita ko nasa 30 days lang.. humaba na ung time, means more time
spent away from ur loved one is the increase in number of days a matter of policy of CPC , as in new rule? or is this just a trend (sabi nung isang nabasa ko nagsummer daw kasi kaya madami daw nagbakasyon sa cpc-- baka nagjojoke lang siya) and baka bumalik din sa dati na 30 days? nakakalungkot naman kung pahaba na ng pahaba ung processing times :,(

Hi!! naku if i were you dont compare mga timeline ng mga applicants kasi very different talaga.. and the process of sponsorship is case to case basis kasi different V.O ang may hawak ng application.. swerte kung mabilis ang processing patience lang if medyo matagal.. your starting palang so if mag cocompare ka nakaka stress lang yan.. mas nakakaloka ang pag aantay if nag start ka na mag file.. so tutal january ka pa mag file so gather nalang the needed proof.. then bago ka bumalik pa medical mo na ang hubby mo..
