Thanks po sa response..opo..Spousal Sponsorship nga po..Kaya nga po magpakasal kami next year and will wait for the marriage contract..para po tuloy2 na kapag sinubmit sa CIC Center..Ok lang po ba kumuha siya ngayon passport kahit hindi pa kami kasal? And yung medical po, saan po ba advisable magpamedical? Need po ba na sa St.Lukes agad? So hindi na po need ng Form 137 niya and TOR?
[/quote

hello dear, anytime po pede siyang kumuha ng passport...and kelangan magpamedical cya bago kayo magpasa ng application para hndi mag expired kagad ang medical nya... so after the passport i think you cant do anything untill makasal kau...good luck!

 @ jaienei

I think this is a good plan -

Passport   -->   Kasal   -->   Medical

As for medical, Nationwide Health ka magpa-medical. Here's a helpful post about Nationwide -

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/to-all-who-made-medical-examination-to-nationwide-health-system-inc-t16663.0.html;msg349222#msg349222

Like frappii said, for now just read the guide and prepare. Iba na ang handa. Smiley

Good Luck!!

as long as na ka registered sa local minicipal and sa NSO valid ang kasal, anu ba klase wedding? kasi pag kinasal ka naman e ipapasa yun sa NSO munisipyo ang mag papasa sa NSO. ang kailangan lang po ng canadian embassy e valid marriage contract.. hindi naman ma question ng NSO dahil sila lang po ang nag authenticate ng galing sa local nyo. like mine we had a christian ceremony tas garden wedding after nun nag pa rush kame para ma authenticate sa NSO yung marriage contract 2 weeks lang my NSO n kme.

I suggest na punta kayo ng  munisipyo and then mag seminar kayo dun and kukuha ng marriage liscens then pwede na kayo ikasal kahit saan po.

ganito gawin mo yung husband to be mo papuntahin mo sa munisipyo nyo kung san kayo ikakasal or pwede naman kahit san nyo i file kung calookan o quezon city.. papuntahin mo sya huminge kamo ng requirements pag nakuha na alam ko kailangan mo talga ng parents consent kasi 21 ka palang my papapirmahan din yata dun sa form dko matandaan pero baka pwede na yung guardian mo sa pinas and yung cenomar then brgy clearance i dont think kailangan pa yun ako kasi wala na nun pero ang mahalaga ngaun makuha nyo yung requirements para ma kumpleto nyo na and before ka dumating my schedule na kayo ng seminar. parents consent syempre yung parents kailangan yata my letter or pwede din yata guardian kung wala parents. ok lang kahit anung klase pang wedding yan basta valid and  naka register. make sure na kumuha ka na din ng mga pictures kahit simple wedding lang  and pictures kung panu nyo celebrate and kung sino mga umattend... kasi need ng proof n my pictures kayo with his family and your family pero kung wala naman e pwede mo naman explain kung bakit wala ang family mo, pero mas maganda pa din kung my pictures. tas para ma pa NSO mo agad kausapin nyo ung misinipyo kung pede nila rush or kung ayaw nila kayo na kamo mag dadala sa NSO QC kasi ako 2 weeks lang nakakuha na ako eh pina rush ko.

previously your questions were answered by fellow members but i want to add more things para mas maging clear at sana naman maka help:

If this is your first marriage, the local civil registrar will ask to see your original birth certificates or your baptismal certificates. Certified copies may be accepted. You need to provide the full name, residence and citizenship of your parents or guardians.

Individuals between the age of 21 and 25, must "... ask their parents or guardian for advice upon the intended marriage. If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor. A sworn statement by the contracting parties to the effect that such advice has been sought, together with the written advice given, if any, shall be attached to the application for marriage license. Should the parents or guardian refuse to give any advice, this fact shall be stated in the sworn statement."
(this is stated in title 1, chapter 1, article 15 of the Family Code of the Philippines)

There is a waiting period of ten consecutive days while notice of the marriage application is posted on a bulletin board outside the local civil registrar's office.

If either of you are between the ages of 18 and 25, you will need to show proof to the local civil registrar that you have received marriage counseling. If you do not receive marriage counseling, your marriage license will not be issued for three months.

Witnesses:
Two witnesses are required. Witnesses must be of legal age.

If  you are not a citizen of The Republic of The Philippines, you have to provide your passport and a certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage from the Canadian Embassy Manila

ministers of registered churches or religious sects can officiate at your wedding

At this time you should try to gather as much evidence as you can so you can include this in your application:
Pictures especially old ones and not just those pictures taken at your wedding
Pictures with friends and family
Letters and Cards that are postmarked
Emails, Chat Messages, Text Messages, Facebook pages
Receipts of gifts, receipts on wedding expenses, honeymoon, trips
Passport entry/exits
Remittance slips if any
Phone bills, Cellphone bills highlighting your numbers

Your husband to be can get his passport anytime
His NBI should state that he`s going to travel to Canada/abroad, this can wait , The NBI certificate must have been issued no more than three months prior to submitting your application.  That`s why so many were asked to submit another NBI .

Your husband to be can do his medical after the wedding. Just fill up Appendix C found in Manila, Philippines Instruction for Sponsorship of Spouse. Take it to a designated medical practitioner.  Attach the proof of medical with your application

Hi frappii,

Medyo magkalapit ang timeline natin... tanong ko lang... hindi kc ako nakapag submit ng advisory on marriages, nanghingi ba sila sa iyo or kasama ito sa application mo? di ko kc alam na kailangan ng advisory on marriages...
