Yung immigration officer ba mismo nagsabi na dapat AOM at hindi CENOMAR? Hmmm.... Or did the letter just say "send in an Advisory on Marriage"?

You have to understand na ang CENOMAR is also an Advisory on Marriage. At ang sabi ng NSO it might take up to 3 months bago ma-register ang mga marriages contracted abroad kase after i-process ng Philippine Consulate, dadaan pa yan sa DFA and then NSO. It's totally up to you kung gusto mong hintayin mag-appear yung marriage record nyo sa NSO. But again, I suggest i-send mo na yung CENOMAR, marriage contract and passport first. At pag nag-appear na yung marriage record nyo sa NSO, i-follow up nyo na lang sa Canadian Embassy.

Of course, it's ultimately your decision. Just thought I'd give my two cents. Good Luck!!

its been sept 30 immgration officer calling my husband but my husband didnt answer it coz his too busy so this afternoon they called me asking for 3 doc which is original copy of marriage certificate, passport and aom and i told them okey aom means cenomar he told me no its aom advisory of marriage and i answer we got married here in vancouver so how i can get aom she told me just ask your husband to get from nso ...........then she told me she gonna give ask 30 days for this document ....thats it so now im so stress coz in the checklist they never indicated for aom so i dont know ...............tom i gonna go to philipines consulate and ask for certification for aom is in process ..........................hoping this can help me

Dapat pla eh makakuha na ng AOM habang maaga pra pag bgla nanghingi ang CEM eh may naka-ready na di ba? di nman siguro kamahalan un. Ang importante eh ung oras....

ask ko din kung pareho lang ba ang waiting period ng mga dependants sa pinas kung ang kukuha from canada eh naging immigrant dahil naka-2 years na dun as care-giver or dun sa mga nagpunta tlga sa canada as immigrant then kukunin na nila dependants nila?

I see. Sana nga sinabi ng checklist na "Your marriage must be registered at the NSO and you must submit an Advisory of Marriage from the NSO" edi sana mas madali natin na-prepare.

When were you guys married? Also, is this the first time you and your husband got married? And finally, pa-share naman ng timeline. I'm really curious as to how this turns out kase medyo pareho din yung situation natin. Being married abroad that is. Maybe you can ask the Philippine Consulate na pabilisin yung processing ng report on marriage nyo for immigration purposes.

kami nga ng husband ko nagulat  nung nakatanggap siya ng sulat  pinag babayad siya 490  .
di naman namin alam  kala namin andun na lahat sa 550    na unang binayaran

tapos  i read  madedelay  daw pag ganun..

WAIT!!! DONT GET CONFUSED FROM THE REPLY BELOW!!!!

Here's the thing, hindi considered family member ang mother and father when it comes to spousal sponsorship. Ang family members ay husband/wife and children. Yung lang. Ibig sabihin kung wala kang anak, ikaw lang (the applicant) ang kelangang kumuha ng NBI Clearance.

Not sure kung ano ulet yung Appendix A. Eto ba yung document checklist? Or yung form asking you details about family members? Just clarify this form for me kung kelangan mo din ng help filling it up.

Yes I agree with jeans22.. He's right. Parents and siblings are not considered as family members in the Sponsorship application. So ikaw lang yun tapos kapag family members, Not Applicable.

Bakit? may I ask kung ano ang nilagay mo noong first time mo sinubmit ang Appendix A?

magkalapit tau ng timeline JGS, ako din araw araw nag chechek its crazy pero totoo...before i dont even check ngaun hay...nkakainip n kc hopefully within this month or even nxt month may improvement n ang papers naten...wish and pray!!!

ella its best to call NSO about it. dapat meron kayong documentation that youre marriage is legit kung sa ibang place kayo kinasal diba? maybe you can present that to NSO para may proof na you are indeed married. best to get hold for your marriage certificate from vancouver then call NSO on how to go about this issue, or kung pwede bang yung marriage cert from another place ang isubmit instead of NSO.
