Hello everyone... i just got my visa today July 28, 2011! thank God! Sana sa mga di pa nakakakuha visa soon darating na para matapos na lahat paghihirap ng kalooban nating maghintay!
@ BDO about the guidance counseling sa Center for Overseas Workers St. Mary Euphrasia ako nagpunta noon. eto address:

i had my counseling when i was applying for my passport kasi.so all i have to do is go there for the stamp on my visa na lang.
REGISTRATION STARTS AT 7:30 A.M. No Need for Reservation just WALK-IN.
COUNSELING SESSIONS SCHEDULES: 8:30 A.M., 11:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.
FOR ALL COUNTRIES FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY
then after ka magpa counseling, they will give you the counseling certificate. Total may visa ka na, you will need to present the following for registration after the counseling.
1. WITH VISA:
- Passport (original and 3 photocopies) ; VISA (original and 3 photocopies)
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CPR) for Canada bound emigrants
- P400 registration
at may 250php din na bayaran for counseling
SMEF-COW has ONE STOP PROCESSING for its CFO Guidance and Counseling
CFO has an EXTENSION office at COW for immediate release of CFO Guidance and Counseling Certificate

Congrats sa lahat nakakuha ng Visa at DM. Halos karamihan ng March batch ay may Visa at DM na. Next month, kami namang April batch ang magkaka Visa at DM. April batch... Excited na ba kayo??? Oo excited na!! Sunod na ang batch ntin  |

here is my timeline..
feb.11,2011 -- sent application to mississauga
feb 14 - received application
mar11- started processing application, forwarded application for PR in Manila
mar23 - manila received application
april 24- received letter to submit Passport, proof of medical, CENOMAR,
apil 27 - sent required docs
june 10 - ecas says they started processing my application on june 6
july 2- ecas- medical results have been received
july 10 sunday - Decision made
july 23 - address appeared on ecas
july 28 - passport received with visa stamped on july 6..

hows your IELTS? where ka kumuha test? how much? I'm planning to take also...I'm applying kasi as Educator sa Toronto College to qualify in Teaching position kasi yun ang field ko dito sa atin eh...mag-try lang ako...give me some tips naman sis!
speaking test pa lang natapos ko kahapon... umikot sa "neighborhood" ang mga tanong sa akin ahehe sa saturday pa ang 3 subtests --- listening, reading at writing... Sa British Council ako kumuha.. Sa 9.0Niner Review Center nmn ako nagreview... Registration Fee for IELTS Exam = Php8640 For Canada, Band Score per Subtest is: Listening = 7.5 Reading, Writing & Speaking = 6.5 Total Band Score = 7.0 |
