I,too, experienced being stereotyped all the time (been married to my hubby for 8 years),lalo na yung mga bagong kakilala....pero I am proud to prove them wrong. I get to be a role model to other  immigrants here too  ... Me 2ng dalaga akong kakilala na una takot na magkaroon ng Canadian BF hehehehe pero nung nakita na very caring and loving ang hubby ko,they accepted that possibility and now they admit na mas masaya sila sa Canadian BFs nila. (Sorry po sa mga kababayan nating Pinoys). It's not what others think you may be....but it's what you know of yourself  that matters.

Hi! I'm a new member of this site and is seeking help with our upcoming PR application. Hope anyone here can help me!

I am a Canadian Citizen residing in Manila as of the moment. My husband is a Filipino and we have a daughter who is a Filipino citizen as well. They both were given Temporary resident visa's last month and we are leaving next week for Canada. Anyway, me and my husband have decided to apply for their PR from within Canada (inland) as soon as we arrive, but reading different forums I've learned that you can apply for PR outland while in Canada on a TRV for as long as you apply for extension of the TRV. I'm now having second thoughts if i should apply inland or not since the timeline for outland is way shorter. Question is, CAN WE APPLY OUTLAND AND HAVE MY HUSBAND REMAIN OR COME IN AND OUT OF CANADA WHILE PR IS IN PROCESS AND WHILE MY DAUGHTER STAYS WITH ME IN CANADA ON A TRV? Has anyone in this site/forum ever done this before? will appreciate any help i can get. thank you so much!!

QUESTIOn po para sa lahat who were asked to fillout APPENDIX A. Sa likod ng form ay APPENDIX B or photo specification. Dapat bang magsubmit ng NEW Photos and husband ko? Yung unang inisend nya with our application ay may name and signature nya sa likod. Pero dito sa APPENDIX B ay kailangan blank sa likod ng picture. At dun sa letter from v.o. they specifically asked for PP, APPENDIX A and Libya PC only. Thanks.

True that the timeline for outland is way shorter than inland. And I believe that your husband can come to Canada on a TRV while being sponsored. Once he received his visa he can exit through the U.S. border then reenter. But if he is called for interview then he needs to go back to Manila. Someone from here told me about this as I was considering having my husband who is in Manila to come while waiting for his visa. Hope this helps.

Thank you, arian! Another question if you dont mind.. If I apply outland, and need to apply for extension of their TRV's, I would need to apply it seperately from their PR applications which would mean to apply it in Canada? And if they do approve and give extensions, would their TRV extensions last long enough til they get their PR's approved, and do you think they would approve extension if my reason was so they can stay with me while the application for PR is in process outland?What are the odds that my husband will be refused entry when coming back to Canada if he ever leaves for Manila? thanks again for the help.

My husband also got appendix B, but it wasn't specified in the letter that they needed additional photos.
My husband emailed them and luckily they replied right away. It turned out na they needed 4 more pictures of him with nothing written in the back.
I suggest you email them to confirm if they need more photos from you.  If they don't reply then just send in photos like we did
