hello everyone !!bago lang ako dito and being in this forum help me a lot!!im about to go to the canadian embassy sa manila bukas to follow up?posible ba to ano ba dapat ko asahan o kailangan dalhin para i follow up application ko miss na miss ko na asawa ko hay!!

march 28,2011 application sent
April 11,2011 letter from the embassy  receive plus another letter requesting for my passport,appedix a and another original police clearance    from norway since the police clearance i have submitted already expired.
May 24 2011 submitted all the additional documents and passports through the rcbc basement drop box.....
june until now waiting waiting and waiting!!!!!!

I just read this from another forum but im not sure if the information is reliable or not...

They said, you will know if the  "Decision Made" is positive or negative by counting the number of days past after DM in ecas to the day when you received the visa.    

The reason behind, is the visa package is delivered via DHL or courier in an average of 3 to 6 days..  and the REFUSAL letter is allegedly sent via normal postal mail ( Is this true? ) The quicker you receive the visa, it is likely a positive DM.... If its longer let say 2-3 weeks it is probably a negative DM.  ( how about those from the province? )

AGAIN, im not sure if this information is true...  so for those who already received their visa..
How many days AFTER DM in ECAS you receive the visa?

HI Raniloc....as far as this thread and group is concerned,the DMs have all been 100% positive.Someone here took 2 months bago nila narecieve visa nila after DM yet its still a YES.  .

Hi prettyboy.. dont compare with other country.. sa ibang country kase like buffalo once they get your passport meaning approved ka na kase ganun ang processing nila (they will process your paper first then pag ok na saka nila request ung passport) different country different rule.. sa pinas naman bago lang sila mag start ng pag process kinukuha na nila ung passport para isang larga na lang isang process na lang para wala ng request kaya nga sa aor sa pinas ni rerequest na nila lahat then saka nila titignan files mo then pag may kulang saka sila ulit magrerequest ganun sa pinas... onting antay pa nakaka 1month ka palng naman eh malay mo next week or end of week ng aug may update ka na... wag mo na lang antayin darating din yan :)V

.    @    mrs.vip kaya nga aq nagtataka eh wat if they need nila mga passport nila and if they want to go for a trip like my husband dumating un tita nya they suppose to go to hongkong just for a short vacation sana pero we didnt expect na need nya ipadala pasport nya imigtration gonna hold it for a long time nkaka-upset lng kc atleast sana immigtration should inform us that they will hold the passport for that long.

Hi hennelle,

Based sa mga previous batch kasi the more you follow-up your application na hindi pa lumalagpas sa time frame nila they might prolong yung pagprocess ng application mo.  Maybe what you can do is order a CAIP notes na lang. At least pag ganun you would know kung pinaprocess na nila application mo or ano pa kulang.. Although yung result 3-4 weeks pa bago mareceived.

Thank you arianne , except for folders containing yung filled up forms ng sponsor at nung principal applicant, ibinalik ng CEM yung
mga pictures, cards, telephone billing statement, remittances reciept.  chat logs, at mga letters. half nung nsa picture ang bumalik
sa min.

OO naman po...kita-kits tayo dun Toronto...Oct. 10 po tentative flight namin anak ko...kaya lang di ko pa hawak passport ko...still nervous but I try to be positive!..heheheh

Sana.....kahit di tayo nagkita-kita face to face...somehow we keep in touch pa rin kahit sa FB...keep posting...I love you guys! Iba nagawa sa akin ng forum na ito..I've learned a lot.. emotionally and spiritually...though I haven't see you in person but there is a mutual feeling started to developed when I get in here..I feel were family here...sana...someday we unite thru thoughts...and mission for our family and love ones...sana sa mga dadating pa lang dito sa forum at aalis pa lang at doon sa mga nakarating na na CANADA walang magbago..stay as you are and keep your feet on the ground...God loves and keep His children who stay humble and simple... seems logical. But for God's sake!!!.... why will they send the original docs which include the passport by ordinary mail, e panu kung nawala? di ba collect courier naman yun? the extended delay for those refused is understandable dhil wala n sa priority nila considering the volume of their work pero dapat naman sana courier din. But i still think courier din dahil sagutin ng cem pag nawala, nasira, or whaterver.

I read from another forum dont know if true.. everytime your making follow-up on the status of your application... they log/record how many follow-ups was made on the application and tag it.. Im not sure if this will cause further delays in processing the application.  I hope not.. cause i made 2 inquiries at CEM asking for status.

You know what raniloc I think this is true.. kasi kami nagfollow up kami once last June 27... Yung mga kasabayan ng husband ko they got their visa July end... pero still not 100% correct.. just continue praying darating din yun..

not yet redtag... Taga San Pedro, Laguna lang kami.. Sana this week dumating.. Kaw po saan location mo? Pero based sa mga table na nakita ko.. maximum is 15 days and minimum of 3 days from date ng DM.. Nakapagpabook ka na ba ng ticket? If yes how much? Thank you!

Hi Sis tine...marikina area ko..di pa rin dating sa akin...si Sis Dors laguna din sya she got her VISA nitong tuesday...3 days lang pagitan natin since she got DM..hopefully this week..DHL nagdala sa kanya...parating na rin sayo sis...Nakapag-pa book na ako nitong July pa ...Oct.10 tentative flight namin anak ko...$779/each 1 stop flight via Cathay Pacific..
