OHHHHHH??? Isn't this SPOUSE OR FAMILY CLASS. err??? saka wala na pong ibang forum (i guess) na nagtatalk about sa query ko. and before kasi nasagot naman yung tanong ko na family class sponsorship?? saka alam ko naman na po yang sa eligibility eh. just bout sa cases na nadedeny po kasi i really have no idea bakit yung iba naman okay kahit na walang work yung sibling nila blah2. ayun po.
hi Paranoid if im not mistaken Family Class includes a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, dependent child, parent and grandparent... Godbless

Let me get it clear, who is the sponsor? The sponsor in Canada can apply for his/her parents + minor siblings (below 22). Other than that, siblings can not be sponsored except for the FC2 exception.
When you do not have a spouse, child(ren) and parents; then you can sponsor anybody.
here is my previous post po My aunt is the sponsor who is a canadian citizen. BAKIT PO BA NA DEDENY ang sponsorship ng sibling? Eh my aunt's parents, who are my grandparents of course, passed away na po matagal na. PARENTS po kasi can be sponsored right? but sad to say here, namayapa na po sila. na deny daw po kasi yung sponsorship sa mom ko. Papaano po bang na dedeny ang sponsorship? Will it matter po kung nagwowork ang mom ko or not? Kasi housewife po sya ngayon. She stopped working na po and malabo na rin pong kumuha sya ulet ng work sa Pilipinas kasi 49 years old na po sya. Maybe kung massponsor po sya, including us her family, magwowork po sya dun. We know po kasi families who have sponsored their sibling and their sibling's dependent family. So ang gusto nyo po lang sabihin, hindi na ssponsor ang sibling? yan po ba? but people in another forum told me na nassponsor daw po coz they also know people na nakasponsor na din. but when i asked how, yun lang daw po ang di nila alam

Thank you. Hayy! Kinabahan ako lalo bigla doon. You think may effect yung trv denial sa perm visa application? Their reason kasi was di ko daw maprove na babalik pa ako ng Pinas. Kahit na we showed them bank accounts and business and trabaho ko dito. So naisip namin na since citizen ang hubby ko, they wanted us to apply perm res instead. and since yun din naman ang long term plan namin, we went ahead and apply.
i think no bearing kasi me PR visa na ako albeit nakastate sa application ko na 2x akong nadeny sa TRV application.. i received my PR visa in just 4mos (fr submission to CPC-M)

Here is the excerpt of the rule: Who can be sponsored You can sponsor: - parents - grandparents - brothers or sisters, nephews or nieces, granddaughters or grandsons who are orphaned, under 18 years of age and not married or in a common-law relationship -another relative of any age or relationship but only under specific conditions (see Note below) Note: you can sponsor one relative regardless of age or relationship only if you do not have a living spouse or common-law partner, conjugal partner, a son or daughter, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece who could be sponsored as a member of the family class, and you do not have any relative who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident or registered as an Indian under the Indian Act. -accompanying relatives of the above (for example, spouse, partner and dependent children). I would assume your mother is the "one relative regardless of age", but the sponsor (your aunt), should qualify under the rest of the notes in red.
