hello everyone! I hope you can help me to clear some notions regarding on how will I sponsor my girlfriend to come with me to Canada if I am already there..

Currently, my mother is sponsoring me and my father under the Care-giver live-in Program..We are almost in the last stage of the processing..We're waiting for our visas to be issued..

My family promised me to help me to sponsor my girlfriend when I get there..They said that it will take 6 months before I can get her and I must marry her here in the Philippines..

I would like to ask you guys if you have any idea on how the processing goes in this kind of sponsorship and if possible, you can give me a time line of processing..

Also, is there a minimum time of staying there in Canada before I'll go back to here in the Philippines to marry my gf?

How can I prove to embassy that I can sponsor my girlfriend?is there a minimum salary to be achieved?

parang nasagot ko na po to dati, anyways your parents is right u can sponsor her after u landed find job and get back home to marry your gf. theres no certain amount but you have to get job as a proof that you could support her.

hello po sa inyo, here i am again, hingi lng po sana ako ng opinion regarding the status of our application. Medyo bother na din po kc kami ng husband ko...

Till now po kc d pa nadating ung Visa namin ng daughter ko... Nahuli po kc ang payment namin ng permanent rsident fee.. My hubby paid it last December 19, 2010 through online payment and kinabukasan Dec.20, sinend na po ng hubby ko sa CPC-M ung copy or proof of payment... And then mga last week of January po nagtry po mag-inquire si hubby sa CPC-M, sabi po sa kanya Jan. 20 daw po naforward na dito sa Manila ung regarding sa payment of Resident Fee. Halos kalagitnaan na po kc ng March now, wala pa din po kaming news, kahit po sa ECAS still in-process pa din. Everyday na nga po ako nagcheck ng ECAS. Pareho na po kami sad ni hubby. We are aware na po na 2months delay ung issuance ng visa once na d agad nabayran ung sa Resident Fee. ALmost 2months na po kc, ala pa kaming natatanggap na news.

Ano po kaya pde namin gawin ng hubby ko? Pde na po ba akong mag-inquire sa Manila Embassy? Please help us...  

Mag-birthday po kc c hubby sa April 1, try po sana namin humabol pa. Sana naman po ma-issue na ung Visa namin ng daughter ko...

uhmm, curious lang po kasi bka namiss ko un step na yun madelay un processing ng papers.. ang lam ko po kasi lahat ng need byadan ni hubby eh binayadan na niya.. along with our papers ksma po nia snubmit un receipt ng mga bnydn nia..

i just have question for you, yung bang date sa ECAS , saying that your application had been received was here in Manila or there in Canada where your hubby submitted the application...i was just curious....

pag ba may kulang na binayaran ang hubby mo maprocess ba yung papers or bago ka hingean ng mga additional docs and PP, they will notify you to pay first, right?

Feb 28 ko pa na pasa ang passport ko, sa tingi mo ilang days bago ka manotify if DM kana?
sana ako dumating na visa ko..its been, 16 days now since pinasa ko passport ko...heheh ..im so excited...

Hello Simplytin;

I read your timeline on your signature. I believe ours is almost the same.

- We submitted our application to Missasauga on Dec 22nd
- It was approved and sent to Manila on Jan 18th
- It was received on Jan 31st
- We received a letter dated Feb 11th for our Passport and additional docs
- We couriered our Passport and docs on Feb 25th
- We received a 2nd request for docs dated Feb 16th
- We couriered the 2nd set of documents on Mar 3rd

and now we wait ...

It would be so nice if the would confirm receipt of our documents. They were sent by courier, but still, we just do not know if they have them or not ?

Also, all the corespondence so far has been through regular mail, from the embassy. We submitted our email addresses. I wish they would have emailed us, it would have saved at least 3 weeks on their requests.


Now we wait. My wife often tells me, His time not ours. I know she is right (she is very wise) but truth is, the waiting game is very difficult.

I hope we both receive good news (our visas) soon.

ask ko lang pano mo nalaman na may na miss kayong payment  ? diba hindi naman iprocess ng embassy or CPC-M yung application nyo if not fully paid, am i right?

2 kase un yung una para sa process ng papers ung isa landing fee kung binayran mo yan both 1040 eh wala kang problem pero kung ang binyaran mo ung pag process lang matatagalan ka ng 2 months

and yes they will still process your paper kase ung 2nd payment eh LANDING FEE (RESIDENT FEE) na un pag nagrequest sila nun meaning approved n ung application mo pero pag hindi sila nagrequest edi refused.

anyway asa kit naman un

abt sa passport mo kung kelan mo makkuha eh depende talaga un case to case ika nga kung wala naman problem and feeling mo napass mo n lahat eh makkuha mo un agad at least 1month after mo ipass ung PP pero it depend sa mood ng officer or depende sa case wala naman talaga pwede magsabi gaano katagal makukha after mapass un PP eh asa officer talaga ung sagot and kung sa case

yong date sa ecas is kung kelan nila na received ang application natin sa canada...yaan mo makakasama mo din c hubby mo in God's perfect time...san destination mo???

sis, kakadepressed.. nafound out ko kay hubby na 550 lng bnyadan nia, which is suppose to be 1040 including the resdence fee db.. panu ba ggwn dun sis? npasss q na passport q sa CEM, dmtng nsknla nun mar1. pwede ko ba habulin un na pbayadan kay hubby ? sya yta magsend nun receipt sa CPCM tpos un CPCM magfoforwrd nun sa CEM.. help please!! thanks

hi po, good day to both of u.. thanks po sa reply nio sa post ko. Cge po d na lang muna kami mag-inquire sa Manila Embassy, wait na lang po namin ung VISA dumating. Sana nga po wala na silang request pa na kung ano since nakapay na kami landing fee last December pa.

Actually, nalaman namin na kulang pa ung payment namin kc through this thread na din and also sa website. kaya inexpect na namin ni hubby na may dadating na letter sa kanya for the request of payment of resident fee. Ung letter dumating sa kanya last December 2010. And ung passport namin October pa nasa Manila Embassy kaya super tagal na talaga ng process papers namin...

Wait na lang namin dumating ung visa as of now.
