Hi I'm new here,and im about to start my husbands application going to canada,we just got married last December 2010,thent went back here in canada in January 2011,what i am not sure before submitting our application is Do i need to change my marital status and surname in all documents i previously have as a single like my Permanent resident card,passport,SIN.healthcard and drivers license before submitting all the needed forms?

I got married in July of 2010.  Yung sa akin na change ko yung mga Id ko (e.g. drivers at health card nasa married name ko na) at yung mga bank cards before ko pinasa yung application. Yung d ko pa na change yung nasa SIN ko at CAN. passport pero sa application yung ginamit ko na last name ay yung married name ko na. Gumawa lang ako nang cover letter inexplain ko bakit yung mga documents ko na iba nasa maiden ko pa at hindi sa married name...sinabi ko na due to time limited d ko na na change yung ibang docs ko like yung sin at passport at i-change ko yung passport to my married name once bumalik na yung passport ko dito at prior to expiration na. Yung SIN ko lang siguro ang hindi ko e-change kasi may option ka na i change mo or hindi at kahit na i change mo sa married name mo d naman ma apektuhan yun kasi pr ka na...at d naman mandatory. marami akong kilala dito na yung SIN nila ganoon pa rin nung single sila.

noon worried rin ako kasi yung mga documents ko nasa maiden name ko pa pero yung sa application ko ginamit ko ang married name ko...pinadala ko na as long as inadvised mo sila tpos may proof of marriage certificate ka naman na evidence na yung married name na ginamit mo ay sa hubby mo.

Na complete ko yung application by Oct at napadala by Nov tpos na approve naman at ngayong yung hubby ko nakakuha na nang passport request...so we're just waiting na

hi everyone! may question lang po ako kc i got 2 letters from cem first one aor/ppr and addtl docs  and second letter addtl docs. i already sent my passport and addtl docs which they requested on the first letter except for my son's nbi  clearance because its still on process and wants to meet the deadline they gave me thats why i sent them already without the nbi clearance but i attached a letter telling them that i'll send as soon as i get it. it's going to be release today though and i have also the other docs they requested on the second letter,my question is can i send my sons nbi together with the other docs? i also photo copied the first letter do i have to send it with the nbi clearance or just the second letter with the other docs? i just hope this will not cause delay of processing need answers plzzzz...thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,

Ngayon po nakuha ng husband ko ang PPR request. Pwede po ba na i drop off na lang nya deretso sa Canadian Embassy ung passport kesa i DHL pa kasi mas mahal pa un eh. Nanghihingi lang din sila ulit ng Appendix A at B na pictures ata un di ko sure...pero pwede po ba i drop off nlng sa Canadian Embassy ung passport? Thanks
