hello Earal, tnx sa encouragement...
I'm planning to land on January 15, 2011.
hubby will come here in Ph for xmas and stay 1 month then we'll fly together to Canada ..

hpe and pray next week/tuesday ay para sau na... at sa iba pang pghihintay...

 i hope and i pray for that too... but im sooo happy for all of you guys, you can be with your loved ones soon!

hi! I would like to ask what is DM?and PPR means?

My mom, received her permanent resident card yesterday..is that the PPR stage?

DM means Decision Made on e-Cas tracker.

PPR means Passport Request

No, that isn't PPR stage... I'm sure ur mom is already done with PPR stage because she got her PR card now...

This is my Timeline

July 2010- sent docs to Missisauga
August 31- Husband was approved to sponsor
September 13- "On process" in Ecas
September- PPR and some addtional docs request
October 21- sent all requested docs including PP
November 16- Decision Made
VISA ISSUED- ?

BTW I am here in Canada with my husband. WE requested to process my PR in Manila CIC and didnt apply for an open work permit (na dapat ginawa ko). I was holding before a WORK Permit but  it was expired last October 23,2010  and  I only have 40 days left to apply for visa to stay here which I cannot do cause I dont have my Passport with me. I am hoping that my Passport with a PR arrive soon before January 11 or else I have to leave Canada.... (without a passport but instead a travel document from Phil consul here which I have i find out about that)

do u mean and2 ka sa canada then nasa philippines ka nag process? alam ba n nand2 ka? kung ma issue ka po ng visa with COPR you have to exit in the port of entry kailangan u lumabas ng canada then saka ka dadaan ng immigration sa vancouver kasi lahat ng immigrant kailangan po dumaan dun. dun ka din po kasi bibigyan ng PR card pero after a month mo pa makukuha yun

Pwede malaman kung ano ang concern or problem mo? I have been reading and following this thread and sad to note that indeed your case is different. But , you are so right to have a positive attitude and hope that something will happen eventually. I am on FAM Class too but got to provide the embassy here in Manila for some police clearance certificate from the countries that I have worked before. The requirements were the ones pending the processing of my application , I guess.

I do hope that yours is not something like mine. For I am somewhat waiting for other people to work for my documents. Stay optimistic as I do and let us keep our prayers for our loved ones and our application.

its just the same, its actually doesn't matter at all. you can use your maiden name as long as you want...using family name in canada never an issue.
you can do as what your fiance have told you and update it when you get your citizenship but bring with you your original marriage certificate...

 I am hoping too at nppraning na ako. Sbi skin ng nakausap ko knina sa CIC, need ko mlaman kung kelan darating kc by January11 na wala pa cya wala na rin dpat ako d2 sa Canada. D dw ako pede magstay ng walang visa.

yah kasi over staying ka na nga so you have to leave the country... pero kung titingnan mo pede ka nmn d umalis kasi may inaantay ka namang visa pero syempre CIC yun, yun ang sasabihin nya sau so magiging illegal ka pero as soon as u had your visa legal ka na dba? yun nga take a risk, pero DM kana dba? im sure darating na yan pag nag exit ka naman eh yan na ang hahanapin sau ung COPR and the new visa kaya ok lang yan  wait mo na wala pa namang 1 month since na DM ka im sure on the way na yun.. dont worry just relax

haizt i'm wooried na xe til now not available pa rin ang ecas ko it's been a month already since my hubby was approved as my sponsor..haven't receive any mail,email or call from them...    AOR or passport request kelangan ka darating?haha.. pero i know GOD has a perfect plan...pero d pa rin maiwasan maging praning..!!!congratz sa mga DM n ung may mga visa na..

Hello.. u mean spousal dn sau? my prob is my ECAS still NA after my husband approved as sponsor and after they took my passport and other documents last JUNE. All i remember was i didnt put any sticker barcode  to some of docus when i submitted it in June 2010. I just put sticker in envelope and passport. But i don't think it's the reason for the delay. I am so worried now. huhuhu thanks...
