opo drop box pala na mean ko...drop box ka din jeans22?? Anu po amg nilagy mo sa labas ng envelope na adress? Kasi ng ask ako sa information nila sabi nia name ko nlng daw at adress and file #..ganun din ba sau?? Thank you po..Godbless

Hi, Unfortunately, yes. Sa Pinas, they ask for the passport at the beginning of the process. Di katulad ng sa ibang bansa, they ask for the passport once the application has been approved and the visa ready to be stamped. So ibig sabihin kahit meron nang PPR satin eh pwede pa ring ma-deny. Pero don't worry kase they usually ask for an interview bago ma-deny ang application. Also, nabasa ko sa isang article once na ang refusal rate for spousal sponsorship sa Pinas ay 8% lang. Di tulad ng sa iba na 40%!! Katakot diba? So don't worry. As long as napasa mo lahat ng requirements and strong naman ang proof of relationship nyo eh siguradong approve yan. Good Luck!! |

Hi Katefs, Kasad nga pareho kami may sakit ng hubby ko and laki ng ipinayat sa sobrang stress simula nagprocess kami ng papers..  Yun nga lang DM na. Parang visa na nga lang lalo pa tumatagal ang pag aantay nten noh? kaloka sila. Kung darating visa niya this week, Nov. 17 sana. Pero wala pa din baka end of Nov. ikaw ba? hi to all! @ katefs and JGS.. We're the same,nakakainip maghintay sana tomorrow we will receive our visa package na. |

sa upper left corner, ilalagay mo name mo at address pati na din ung file # mo. Sa gitna nman eh ung address ng Canadian embassy sa mnila. |

I think it still depends.. Kasi during our time of processing, it says that the average processing time takes 4-6 mos, but then we actually got a DM in less than 3 mos. So I still think that as long as your application is complete and that you have included sufficient proof of your marriage, it won't reach the maximum time. |

michi oo pati ako sobrang lungkot nung nabasa ko to pero sana hindi umabot ng ganun like nga last n update e 6 months pero tingnan mo un iba 2 months lng e d na umaabot ng 6 months sana ganun din tau siguro dumami lang ngaun ang nag papasa kaya ayaw nila tau mag expect sana lang d nga matagal huhu... miss ko na c hubby ko |

hi.. im new in here but i've been reading posts a few months ago. My dad applied for Family Sponsorship last year and this march 2010, the process started here in Manila. we had our medicals last June 7, 2010 and received our Passport Request last September 30, 2010. My dad sent our Passports via courier last october 4, 2010, and last November 2, 2010, our e-Cas status has changed to "Medicals have been received. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you regarding this decision."
My question is, is there a possibility that a family member is not approved? Because I already turned 22 last March 2010, and I worry that they might not approve my application. 2 weeks before we received the passport request, they asked for my registration form from school (because im currently taking my graduate studies @ UP Diliman).
hope for your response. thank you! (waiting for the visa to arrive is such an exhausting experience)

hello everyone! This morning I received the packages from my niece in France..I thought it was a package from embassy na ang dumating but di pala ..I've talk to courier from AIR21, She said to me they are the one deliver the packages from Canadian embassy esp.here in Mindanao not the DHL and the recipient is entitled to pay once she or he will receive it..is it true?I'm a bit confuse..I tried to call the DHL but hard top connect,I'll try again later.The woman gave her num. coz she said their are package this afternoon. To those who got their visa..did u pay when ur visa delivered? thank a lot! |

I haven't received my package from the embassy din pero from what I've read, yes kelangang bayaran ang courier for the visa package. Nakalimutan ko na kung magkano pero it's lower than 200 pesos. 160+ ata. Pero baka it also depends kung saan dineliver. Not sure pero baka medyo mas mahal kung sa mindanao ang delivery.
