Actually minsan mas better pa pag may interview kasi pag naconvince na ang visa officer na genuine ang relasyon, that very same day makukuha mo na ung passport mo stamped with visa.

Wala pa rin pagbabago. This Friday, I sent additional docs (additional proof of relationship and relationship history) to CEM via email.

Sis Sept. applicant ako last dec pako requested ng ppr..i received it thru our lawyer jan na..means sa lawyer nmin pinnadala yung request letter so antagal then diko rin agad napadala coz i need to get a police clearance from taiwan so feb ko na napadala..tapos yung magaling nmin lawyer nag wait pa ng request ng rprf namin..kaya last april 14 nabayaran..after dat we heard nothing from them..
gusto ko sana ipadala again yung receipt sa cem to make sure na nkabayad na kami..
i got a lil stress..whew

Hi cjd! I paid my for my husband rprf late as well. I got a letter telling me that I needed to pay and how and also got PPR. So I sent my husband's passport and I paid online March 26 and dumb me, did not send out the receipt to CIC Mississauga agad! Napadala ko yung receipt after a month from my payment date pa, so tumawag ako sa CIC yesterday and checked to confirm if they got my receipt, hindi pa daw cinoconfirm ng Mississauga as of now but I should call back in a week to update, as soon as makita daw ng Mississauga ang receipt, they will confirm payment to CEM and I'm guessing from there pwede na ipag patuloy ng CEM ang pagbigay ng visa sa husband ko. I dont think it'll take that long since hiningi naman na ang passport and payment niya. I'm sure hindi din magtatagal yung sayo, nag ppr ka na ba?

hi sis yah last feb ko na send ang pp ko sa cem..pero last april lang nabayaran ni hubby ang rprf ko..nag wait pa kc ng request yung lawyer namin..kaasar nga eh..kya cguro super delayed ang visa...
just a lil worried kasi baka di rin na forward ng cic yung receipt nmin kya nga gusto ko din sana e mail yung receipt nmin..hay sana nman ma receive na natin visa natin..

Did you sent a copy of the receipt to CIC? Did you receive a letter of confirmation of RPRF payment from CEM?

hubby did not send copy for receipt cause he paid online... below the receipt this was the note

"Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canda and keep one for your records. If you have chosen to do your payment through your Online Application, you do NOT need to send a copy of the receipt to CIC- Veuillez imprimer 2 copies de ce reçu, envoyer une copie à Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada et conserver lautre pour vos dossiers. Si vous avez decide deffecteur le paiement au moyen de la demande en ligne, vous Nêtes PAS tenu denvoyer une photocopie du reçu à Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada."

hubby sent it with me..i never received any confirmation letter from cem.
meron ba dapat mareceived na confirmation letter?
ok lang kaya sis na mag send ako ng copy ko sa cem.
kasi yung lawyer namin ang nag me mediate...the problem is before ka nman mka pag follow up sa lawyer eh kailangan nka sched ka or mag pa appointment pa..hay nku kakaloka..
pls advice me sis wat to do..tnx a lot.

We also paid online but we sent a copy of the receipt to CIC and CEM at the same time.. A month after we received a postal letter from CIC confirming the payment.. here is the excerpt of the letter;

"This letter refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of a Family Class that you submitted on behalf of <name of sponsored person>.  

We are pleased to confirm the receipt of the Rights of the Permanent Residence Fee in the amount of $490. The visa office has been notified that the applicable fees have now been paid. Please retain this letter as proof of payment.

How did your lawyer pay the fees?  via financial institution in Canada or online payment? IN any case, you will need to send back a copy of the receipt to CIC as evidence that you already paid the fees...    

Once paid.. CIC will inform CEM that you already paid and CEM will continue processing your application. Also, CIC will send a postal letter of confirmation of RPRF payment. I assume your lawyer is your representative... CIC will address the letter of confirmation of rprf payment to your representative. You may ask your lawyer of he/she receives the letter of confirmation.
