hello mga sis,ask ko sa mga nag land na sa canada may binayaran ba kayong plane ticket travel tax na 1,620 or 2,700??sabi kasi sa pedos may babayaran daw na ganun bukod pa terminal fee..

I bought mine in St. Raphael for 475$ inclusive of tax. Bali terminal fee na lang babayaran.

it's really wierd as when my wife went to do the Guidance and Counseling class they told her she not have to do it and told her just to go CFO main office and when she got there at CFO they even said she not have to do any class and told her just to come back with her COPR and they would issue the CFO stamp without any class. im curious why is that when on the websites it said u had to do atleast 1 of the classes but they said she not have to, has anyone had this happen before?

Never heard of this... Did your wife attend GCS earlier while she's still waiting for her visa? IF she did attend, then no need to re-do the seminar. She just needs to go directly in CFO office and present the GCS certificate that was given to her when she attended the GCS seminar.  

It is not possible to skip the seminar and go directly to CFO just for the sticker as they will not find her name in their system. Every person who attended the seminar are recorded in their system where they will re-check in the CFO office  once you presented the GCS certificate.  No record in their system meaning you skip or did not attend the training... You will be asked to attend the seminar  before they stamp the CFO sticker in your passport.

nope she didnt do the GCS before her visa and when she went to do the seminar they told her she not have to do it and go straight to CFO and she said at CFO told her just bring her COPR and she would get stamp but we will find out when she goes back to CFO on tuesday as CFO was closed for holy week

Actually sis its just happened unexpectedly  that last month on its third week my ECAS shown DM then 3days after my passport delivered via DHL. But you're so right sis,we've waited for a long time than usual. I think one of the factor, that might caused the delayed of our application process was our late payment of RPRF which I just did when CEM called me and gave me the notification that my husband wasn't paid yet for the said payments.Then I asked my husband about it but he honestly told me that he doesn't knew anything about it.And CEM told me that i could make the payment done here through issuance of manager's cheque from any bank institutions here.Then another factor I think was the separate date of sending back of our additional documents requested by CEM ,which I did  because of the long waiting  for my NBI to get released which I decided to send as to be follow.  

I think me and my husband wasn't had enough sufficient knowledge before we file our application to make it fast and more accurate systematically as usual.

Maybe if I had known this forum  before we had  filed our application,I could surely say that we wont wait that long like we've been waited  to get our application, done.Coz I learned that this forum made, to help and support each other without hesitation,with all love and concern to those whom in need regardless of our different circumstances.  Whew!:P

But the most important now i learned that no matter how long it takes for us to wait there's only one good reason for sure that will keep us hoping and expect each day that we'll have it and cause us to keep moving to gained character ,is that we all know that there's a great future ahead with our loved ones in exchange of it.

Its such a great privilege and honor to be part of this forum..

Economy class are allowed to carry 2 pcs. of 50lbs each pc. (check-in) with total dimension (L+W+H) not exceeding 62 inches per piece + carry-on not more than 7kg or 15lbs with total dimension (L+W+H) does not exceed 45inches or 115cm.

Best you check the Phillipine Airlines website for exact info....from memory I think it was 20 KG for international flights. Domestic flights depend on your fair class and may vary. I think also one bag and one carry on is what they say also, sometimes you can get away with an extra carry on... but you never know. Also keep in mind if you have connecting flight in Canada, you also have to abide by whatever that airline requirements are. If you are overweight, airlines want to charge you a fee for extra weight, so be careful. You don't want to pay this. Then arrive in Canada, and pay the fee again when you transfer to next airline. Quite expensive.
