hi we sent our passport along with other requirements just yesterday (feb 27)
how long does it usually take for the embassy to respond? and what is the next step?

usually they keep on saying wait for 90days before they sent you back your passport with your visa stamped.sometimes less than 90days, just keep the faith..

hi mistletoes...ganun din ako ibang uci number yung nilagay nila sa ppr letter ko pero nakaka pag login din ako gamit ko yung info ko ako yung applicant ngaun bale dalawa na uci number iba pa yung application number nakakalito nga minsan kapag nag checheck ako sa cic website hehehe..

PDOS is a mandatory seminar for those spouse who are PR..
so after you receive your visa you need to attend the seminar   @   CFO unless your sponsor is a CITIZEN another seminar is needed..

mom ko po kasi, husband nya is a canadian ctizen, ano po seminar dapat for her? do you have any idea po ba kung san pwede, and idea po how much it costs?

hello po...yun po be UCI na ginagamit nyo before lumalabas po yung sa hubby nyo? yun po kasi nas PPR pag gimait nyo po xa pang log-in, yung sa inyo lang po lalabas...if im not mistaken po..

Hi faithandlove, yes tama ka i can open my account using the UCI they gave sa ppr- uci na pla ng applicant ito hehe. Thank u for taking the time answering my post fAithandlove.

No idea sis, My  hubby is also Canadian. Application submitted July 8, 2011. Passport sent Dec. 7, 2011. Ecas said Application received July 13, 2011 nothing has changed as of today. It is true very sad talaga.

Medyo matagal tagal na rin pala..kami kasi 1st week of December na namin  nasent applications, kaya lang di agad naprocess kasi di kami nakapagpamedical so nagsent pa ang cic ng letter for Med request, kakapamedical pa lang namin so expected na namin ni hubby na medyo matatagalan ang proseso ng application namin.  So we'll just keep on praying na sana mapabilis...antay antay ka lang sis bukas makalawa anjan na ppr niyo :-)

nakakalungkot naman yun .. 

i am married to a canadian pero mabilis lng din process papers ko. we passed papers 2nd wk of april 2011 and got DM last week of aug 2011. i the visa office does not care kung ano nationality ng spouse, depende s relationship at documents yun.  nagtrabaho din ako s ibang bansa, taiwan at UAE. basta complete papers, proofs & other important documents mabilis lng process. before we submitted our papers, kumuha agad ako ng police clearances kaya din siguro mabilis.

i think having kid(s), especially if they are older would make the process longer kasi mas marami ang i verify nila. wala pa kaming anak nung magsubmit kami, but i was pregnant then.  wala ding umattend sa kasal namin from my husband's side of the family here in canada. i guess it also takes a little longer kung malaki ang age gap (9yrs lang s amin).

basta kompleto at straightforward ang application mabilis ang processing.

nag read din ako from last year mabilis talaga..first stage approval u can take it 1 month plus lng.. sa akin almost 3 months kasi 77 days na approve sa amin...i fu applied around july,august, sept . baka umabot sau 6-7 months..
