Hello sa lahat. . . my wife is a PR in Edmonton, she came here in the Philippines September of 2011 and we got married last January 2012. Plano na po niyang sponsoran ako this year pero ang problem po namin, if magapapachange na ba siya ng surname sa passport niya. Advice from the Canadian Place daw is magpachange daw muna sya ng surname bago ako sponsoran kaya pupunta daw sya sa Vancouver para magpapalit. Nxt question ko po is ano  po ba talaga ang Unang-Unang Step sa pag sponsor? I know na may i fifill up na form. Un bang "Undertaking" na form ok lang ba na ako na lang mag fill up tapos affix ko na lang ung signature ko tapos send ko na lang sa wife ko dun sa Edmonton? Please give us some information kung paano ung right process. Naguguluhan kc ako dun sa steps dun mismo sa website ng CIC. Thanks!

try to collect mga documents na nsa checklist like NSO marriage cert, NBI clearance, advisory of marriage. pagkuha u ng nso marriage cert, isabay u n pagkuha ng advisory on marriage. sana pina endorse nyo pra mabilis. kung nag abroad ka for more than 6mos kuha ka ng police clearance ng bawat bansang pinuntahan mo. collect as many as you can mga proof ng relationship nyo.
download u lng application forms s cic website. mas mganda kung i fill up u thru computer pra signature nlng ang handwritten. we used FoxIt Reader para pwede i save & i edit later. that way pwedeng ikaw ang magfill up or both of you tapos print u lng yung page na pipirmahan mo at yung asawa u nlng ang magprint ng other pages. kami, kahit yung Details of Relationship n extra sheet e ginawa din namin s MS Word. talagang signature lng ang handwritten, mas ok yun kc mas maiintindihan nila db.
once makompleto mo na mga docs isend u sa asawa mo pra sya magsend sa CIC Missisauga. dapat bayaran na lahat ng fees, total e $1040 para mabilis processing. 
regarding the surname, canadian govt doesnt mind if dp nagchange ng last name ang asawa mo as long as me proof n kasal kayo ok lng yun. i didnt change my lastname to my husband's kc matagal ang processing s DFA kya sa lahat ng papers ko e yung maiden name ko pa rin gamit, til now actually khit andito na ako s canada. sbi ng hubby ko, ska nlng magchange pag citizen n pra isang gastos.
pagsend nyo ng documents, follow nyo yung checklists, in order dapat. put them in envelopes or file folder at dapat me label, like Proof of relationship, proof of identity, etc.
kami din kinasal ng january, 2011 nga lng and we sent our application ng april, and got my visa 1st week of sept and i came here 2nd wk of sept. by the way,im married to a canadian national.

Pinapasagutan ung Appendix A and Personal History but I remember sinagutan na namin yun kasama ng applications. Talaga po bang ganun? Papasagutan nila ulet? And they're asking for his Original Passport and Advisory on Marriage (yun po pa yung marriage certificate namin?)

kelangan ko po ng help and advice nyo.. chaka pag po ba nanghingi ng passport, visa na po kasunod? (sana naman)

Hi. You have to follow CEM's instructions. If they asked you to fill out the forms you already filled out before, then just fill it out. About Advisory on Marriage, it is different from marriage certificate. It's similar to CENOMAR but since you're already married, it's called Advisory on Marriage. You can request a copy of it at NSO.

Me and my husband always check updates on this forum, We are really glad to see DM status here and for those who got their visa I would like to say Congrats, and for those who are still waiting like us have faith and be strong

hello guys ask ko lang sna ung sa mga may baby dito na nakaalis paano po gnawa nyo sa mga bottled milk nya? 

kase i have a baby 2years old sya ok lang ba sa airport na lagyan ko na agad ng tubig mga bottle nya para sa milk nya?ganun kasi usually ngawa ko pag umaalis kami ng bahay..tnx in advance

just bring powdered milk enu for the travel. U cn buy bottled water sa airport nmn ganyan gawa ko nun paalis kami ng baby ko who is only 1 and a haf year lng

July 2011 pa nasent un application namin Sent na din ang PP last Dec. 7, Ecas still the same application Received pa rin. Ayaw ko na maexcite he he he!
