Just wondering what DMP stands for?
I'm just concerned all this back and forth with snail mail is delaying everything.
Wanted to be proactive and re-submit medical and NBI.
Tired of being apart and wife is due end of April.

DMP stands for designated medical practitioner.😉

i called twice na this January im asking for a Copy of the Mail kasi ala ako narereceived.. the first one said the decision made then they sent a request na daw for a Copy of the mail i inform them to changed my Address so that it will include my APartment number. tapos he informed me the indi daw by mail nisend but thru email. wala nmn ako narereceived.

then nag follow up ako after a week.. sabi sakin nmn nung isa na ginawa nmn daw ng una kong kausap lahat ng sinabi ko .. pero pina follow up ko ulit , after nun ayun ni hold ako .. after 10 mins or more ata.. sinabi na sakin ang dsesisyon Apporved nmn daw sponsorship ko .. haaay eh bakit ung iba nauuna pa ang passport request.. pede ba tawagan ang Embassy ng canada para itanong kung nandun na papel ng misis ko ..

any advice?

until now everything is still the same except for the address, it dissapeared friday. NBI is also valid for 1 year. CEM sent me a medical form and request for new NBI clearance since both expired jan 4.

guys, ilang weeks ba yung medical bago nila i-forward sa CEM and ilang days pa iintayin ko bago nila i-open?

Nung nagpamedical ako last year May 26, 2011 DMP ko sa SCTS Makati Dra. Timbol after ng medical ko sabi tumawag daw ako after two weeks para malaman kung naisend na nila sa CEM tapos ilang beses ako tumawag June 17 palang nila nasend sa CEM. Bale 22 days din ang inabot now di ko lang alam sa iba

Hello, new guy here, trying to sponsor my wife in Olongapo...

I'm just wondering how does the Manila Canadian Embassy send out a passport request? Do they do it by snail mail? Do they email? Phone call?

Odd question, but I ask because my wife's house doesn't really have a legit mailbox so someone has to be there to meet the mailman. I also don't want to stress myself out by checking my email every ten minutes if it's not get to us by email anyway. We got a decision made from Mississauga on December 29, so the PPR should come soon, right? I'm looking at everyone's timeline and it seems like the PPR comes about a month after DM.

they sent it by snail mail but sometimes thru email. you're lucky if they sent it by email because you will receive it immediately unlike in snail mail, they deliver it very late that causes delay in our application. about PPR, it really depends on your VO. 1month is the minimum waiting time for PPR..

daming nakavisa sa january..congrats all...tanong lang po, how do u fill up b4 form? do u itemized ang items sa excel sheet din summarized na sa b4 form? did u take pictures of ur jewelries?tnx po..

Address is still missing and there is no change in ecas.

If somebody would confirm that address is appearing then our lack of address may have meaning, but it seems that everyone is without address.

I checked my ecas no address as well.

I noticed that somebody updated timeline with Column on the time elapsed tab for use of rep. THANKS

They should add it to updates section as box to check.

Hope that everyone who uses rep fills out column, it helps for people in future to see if that way is better.

I didn't use rep and my case has been very long at every step.

Maybe a rep would have helped???

I checked my ecas no address as well.

I don't think missing address has any bearing on our status.
It just gives us hope that something is happening.

What date did your medical expire?
They asked us to sign more documents , but not re-medical. Ours expired Jan 4th and e-cas says in process.

my medical was expired Jan.2 but my ecas status is DM already. I am worried now.

I have a scanned copy of the medical report section A.  it was dated January 21, 2012... As far as I know, you need to wait for their request of re-medical as you will show the DMP the request letter.

When CEM sent the letter requesting for medicals, the section A form was included together with the old pictures pasted on the form.   I was sent a scanned copy of the letter and the forms. I called different DMPs and 2 out 3 said that they need the original since it is being processeed by CEM. If it will be processed abroad then they will accept a scanned copy of the letter and section A form.

I was just asked to re-take the medicals and no mention of getting new NBI clearance considering that my first medicals was done september 2009 and thats when i got my NBI clearance as well.
