question lang po kc meron ako baby and citizen ang hubby ko. naisubmit n nmin last oct. un citizenship application nya but until now wala pa rin ako narereceive anything from the embassy. pano kaya un f one of this days eh dumating n un VISA ko. DM na ako last Jan.24. is it ok na magfollow up ako para sa baby ko?

after how many months nung ngppr kayo nalaman nyo na for interview kayo? I'm also thinking maybe they are requiring interview from me.

sa Case namin eh..we got the PPR requests July 12 pero August 1st ko na nakuha ang letter..nagsubmit kami ng passport sa CEM august 8th..total of 4 months din before ako nakakuha ng updates ECAS na 4 interview na ko ng next month..wala pa rin ang letter for interview..i actually got the info from my ECAS..siguro mail nila yung letter pa..

Nakakabother naman po bakit  mukhang matagal po  ang processing ng application din ninyo,halos pareho po tayo ng case nadelay din  ang pagreciv ko ng PPR ko almost 2mons. last Nov. ko lang napasa lahat ng addt'l docs and PP ko,but until now I haven't any updates from them,nakakaworry talaga kung wala namang ibang problem bakit kelangan pa patagalin ng ganito tapos at the end iinterviewhin ka din pala... But atleast on your case,we're glad to know kahit pano my updates na unlike mine... Good luck po,.

Dadating na rin yun sayo..1 week apart lang ang difference natin..continue praying and keep up positive..sa min i actually wrote email inquiry pero wala naman akong nakuhang response kundi automated email reply lang ng CEM saying they would not respond to give updates on application that is within the average processing period..

Pareho tayo ng case, I got my visa last Nov. Naapply ko na ctizenship card ng baby ko last Oct. HIndi na aabot card nya and because I have to leave before April, nagpurchase na kami ng Feb air ticket.

Ang ginawa ko, nag-aapply ako ng limited validity passport para sa anak ko. Prinesent ko lang mga requirements sa pagkuha passport with the receipt of citizenship card application.  Para ma secure ka, I got my baby's limited validity passport yesterday. Ready na rin sya umalis with me. Smiley

By the way, dapat may fill-up din na form hubby mo sa passport office sa canada. Both parents are required to apply his passport. Ang mangyayari lang , ikaw applicant, si hubby mo may pipirmahan lang na form sa Canada.

Yung ginawa ko kasi , pumupunta ako sa embassy. Wala din ako nareceive na letter, pero hiningi ko sa embassy yung UCI at file number ng application nya. Dapat kasi may makuha din kayong receipt ng application ng card at receipt sa passport application.

Don't worry, basta asikasuhin mo na yung requirements, makukuha mo sya.

Hi everyone!!! I've been in this forum for quite sometime already. Everyday I've been reading different stories and advices. Can anyone patiently explain in a very simple way the process of this spousal sponsorship? We hired a representative from Canada just to make sure that we wont miss anything and everything will go smoothly. It seems that some people with similar timeline as mine, got their PPR already..even those who had their spousal sponsorship approved later than mine...

As you can see in my timeline, we filed our application last week of September and was received by CIC on October 3rd. Our spousal sponsorship was approved last December 12th. Next should be PPR....I'm waiting.

My questions are the these:

1. Lately, whats the average time will the CEM sends PPR from the day our spousal sponsorship was approved?

2. Where will the PPR be send? Directly to me, here the Philippines because I'm here or in Canada because our representative is there?

3. What way will the PPR be send?  Through my email? my representatives' email? Snail mail to me or Snail mail to our representative in Canada?

4. When I get my PPR? What do they request me to send them??? Just my passport alone?

5. After I send to them my Passport, whats the average time to wait until they make their decision?

6. Once they decide on the matter, how long will they send our visa?

Thanks so much... really appreciate it if someone can clarify everything in a simple manner... I tried reading all the messages in the forum but it seems like fixing the puzzle to get an idea. hehehe.
