I was aware with that sis, na Citizen narin nga agad si baby....wala kasing binigay na document ang VO nmin kung anong step ang pwede naming gawin with regards sa anak namin..if kukuha na lng ba kami nang Canadian PP or pwede na syang mag travel with Philippine Passport even without visa affix. 

 
hmm, that puzzles me too.. i do know philippine passport holders require a visa to enter canada, i'm not sure if that applies to your kid who holds philippine passport but is a canadian citizen.  why not inquire the embassy?

Or punta k sa embassy mismo to inquire dhil mhirsp magbiyahe pag ganyan maliit p nmn anak mo para iwas trouble or tel ur husband to call sa immigration at xa mkpag-usap regarding sa sitwasyon mo.

May I butt in?

So your son is Canadian by descent dahil Canadian ang tatay right (sorry I did not read your previous posts kasi eh, was the dad Canadian when the kid was born)?  And he is dual citizen dahil you are Filipina that's why he has a Philippine passport.  The VO won't issue him a visa dahil Canadian citizen nga ang bata.  You should have applied for proof of citizenship for him, after nyong makuha yung certificate na yun he can then apply for a Canadian passport dyan sa Canadian Embassy dyan sa Manila.

The current processing time is 7 months so medyo tricky yan if you have your visa already.  It's either mauna ka ng mag land and come back for the kid later or try to have your visa extended.

Or another thing is once you apply for the certificate you can apply for a limited validity passport for the kid.  Ilang taon na ba ang bata? If he is a couple months old pa lang you can apply for temporary passport for him.

You can find your passport application forms at http://www.ppt.gc.ca/cdn/index.aspx?lang=eng  For the baby, you have to start by applying for the certificate of citizenship through the Canadian embassy where you are.  You can find the forms here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/certif.asp  The processing time is long but you can apply for a temporary passport for the baby at the embassy once you have applied for the citizenship certificate.  You can also ask to have the citizenship certificate expedited if you have plans to travel with the baby in the near future.

wow..sis sideangel! sa wakas..may naaapprove na kabatch ko na medyo complicated ang situation! sana sumunod na rin hubby  ko and iba pa nating mga sis...6 months na ung sa amin!!:)  sis..bigla na lng ba dumating si mr. dhl..? kwento naman..para mahawaan mo ko ng kasiyahan..para imagine ko kmi rin..  congratulations!!!:)

Good evening forumates!...Finally dumating na visa ko...almost 7 months din bago dumating...hindi na nag update ang eCAS ko..hanggang in process lng sya...Pero may concern lng po ako, kasabay ko kasi sa application ang 16 months old na anak ko..his father is a Canadian Citizen..nung binalik ang Visa package ko passport ko lng ang may tatak, yung passport naman nang anak ko walang visa...they havent  include any letter kung anong gagawin ko for my son para maka travel sya freely...may alam ba kayo guys kung anong pwede naming gawin nang asawa ko? thank you so much for all your help!  ...

Complicated nga yan... . Sorry pero wala din ako idea,  yan din kasi inisip namin ng hubby ko last time na nag visit sya, we planned to have a baby but then we thought it will be very complicated so we decided to hold off and wait for our papers first then come back to canada and then maybe saka na kami mag baby. Pero curious din ako to know pano nga ba yung ganung case.

 may quota kaya ang pag approve ng mga visa ng mga vo..lets say..this month mga 10 lng ang iaapprove nila for vancouver, ganon din sa edmonton, toronto etc...then after meeting the quota..next month naman...ano masasabi nyo bout this?

possible.. malay natin isa tayo sa quota ngayon for approved visa... sana isa ako dun sa vancouver.. *cross fingers*

yah they do like last year 250 families ang naging immigrant sa buong canada,and sa news nun its too much n nga daw ang immigrant here in canada and they will cut off na daw they will priority daw ha ang mga workers to come here with their respectives families n lng daw they will cut off those immigrant aplication.ang ibig kong sabihin eh un nag-aaplay as a independent immigrant with a bondmoney to the government.wag ka masyadong mapraning sis darating n mga visa ng mga hubby natin katapusan meron na hehehe.lakas ng fighting spirit nho.pero meron n tlga for sure.wheeeewwwww

eto na research last april 2009 may new law about sa children born outside canada even the father is canadian ur son wont be a canadian citizen automatically instead file for citizenship.question q lng un passport ba ng ank mo eh philippine passport pa?f yes dapat meorn din xa visa to go kc temporary passport nya yan then wen u arrived sa canada file for a citizenship na and it takes 10 months ata un processing kc.

By “visa exempted passport” you mean, for example, a baby born in Hong Kong, who could gain entry to Canada without a consular visa, right?

What do such parents do?  Postpone their landing for 14 months, I guess, or else leave the baby with relatives.  Not a very appealing prospect for them..

From my link, the Hong Kong website wrote "Following submission of the citizenship application, if travel plans cannot be deferred, you may submit a fully completed passport application along with all supporting documentation as well as your child's proof of travel, itinerary or airline ticket, as supporting documentation to assess the case.  As your child does not have citizenship documents, you will need to submit the original proof of Canadian citizenship from one of the parents, the original foreign birth certificate showing both parents' names, original marriage certificate of the parents (optional), and the receipt confirming submission of the citizenship application. Our passport examiners will assess your case and determine the necessity of issuing a limited validity passport to meet your child's travel needs.
