My background checks are over too. I am not sure how long it takes. Is your medical expire?

well its been 13 months and i have send medical on 15jan2011 and expires next year.what about u

my back grounds r over in last month too . my medicals done on march,09 . can some1 tell how much more time
im so upset as 3 years r gone in process .

well i know how it feels its hard to know.well according my data i have read so many forums they r stating after background checks are over it will take 2 months .dont worry

its strange that ...ur medicals r taen aftr bck grounds .
while my medical was done in march,09 and back grounds got over in last mnth of yr 2011.how strange is it ..

no i think i wrote wrong i got letter for medical second time i send it on jan then emailed canadian immigration on 18 feb then they told me my background checks are over.did u emailed them

yes ,i emailed in jan start and got a reply tht back grounds r clear and checks r completed.
but i dont knw as my medicals r done in march 09. i dont knw next ...
may allah help finish ths now . hav burnt my blood ...

When can they ask pasport for pr or imigration visa ? do ask to apear personally or can ask pasport via courier ?

well if u had ur medical in march 09 its expired mar 2010 as its valid for only one year.when the file is in final stages then they send letter for passport and return all original documents.where r u from.exactly how long it been u applied

case started processing on 19th nov,07.at isbd office.
im frm lhr,have lived in ontario with my wife and 2 yrs old son...now in process at isbd office in pak.
we applied as co-applicant .i dont knw if i should ask caips ..!

well its long time u applied so u went to ontario and lived there how long u lived there and why it took u so long any problem i mean was there any mistake done in filling forms there should be some reason.one of my family friend suggesting me to get a course in canada from college or university and show acceptance letter to embassy what do u say about this?

i dont think u will get approval 'for  study' while in imm process .BUT no harm to make a try and if back grounds r over then wait a lil more ..thts wat i suggest for u.
