spousal visa from india

Hi my husband is a PR and has sent spousal visa application kit to CIC missisauga and was recieved by them on June 8th .its more than 40 days and we haven't recieved any response . How long will it take for my husband to recieve the approval of sponsorship and how long long will it take for me to recieve the intial letter from High comission New delhi. please advice as i also need to give medicals and police clearance .

I sent my Case to Mississauga on 8th June 2011 ans it was delivered on 10th, June 2011...I called them at 18882422100 and they confirmed me on 29th, July 2011, that case have been approved and soon i will receive a letter...

your husband should give them a call and i am sure it has already been evaluated.

The medicals and the police clearance certificates need to be sent along with your application. Wondering why they havent been sent? Did you write a letter explaining that they will be sent later on because as far as I know, it clearly states in the Region Specific Guide that the medicals and PCCs must be submitted along with the package.
