Sorry, this is not a sponsorship question, but I wasn't sure where else to write this.
After you've replied to a topic and u don't want notices anymore of new people replying to the topic, how do you cancel the notifications? I replied to a topic months and months ago and I really don't want notices of when new people reply as it no longer pertains to me. How can I cancel it? I tried clicking the "notify" button and then unclicking it, but it hasn't worked.... is it possible?
Thank you.
Go to Profile (the blue bar on top right), once there, click on Notifications and Email on the left. Uncheck the box where it says: Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic. Then save settings. See if that works.

I believe only Quebec has an income requirement, our friend just applied to sponsor her spouse and she did it out of BC because she didnt meet the requirement for quebec.. they have different rules than the rest of canada.

Actually, Quebec do have extra requirements but as far as income is concerned, it's the same as Canada. In the end, the only really extra thing that Quebec requires from the applicant is to learn French when he arrives. All of this to get the extra money!!! I paid 260$ extra compared if I lived in another province.

Hi everyone,
My Husband is about to apply for a three year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Am currently lives with my Husband in Canada under OWP. I know in the old days, spouse of PGWP holder usually can get a open work permit (OWP) even if the holder of PGWP, does not have a job offer. Now, I heard this is no longer true as many spouses' OWP applications got rejected.
My question is:
1. Is there anyway to extend my stay in Canada besides an OWP? In my husbands application for PGWP, can i apply for extension of my stay? Can i get a 3year period extension( equal to PGWP of my husband)?
Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for your help so far. Just a couple of more questions and I think I'm ready to send the package off.
1) Regarding 5 Photo's (on the back of each photo are people putting the date the photo was taken or should we leave it blank?).
2) when sending the application package (from outside of Canada) to the Processing Centre in Mississauga can we courier it or must we mail it? I see they have different addresses for each option.
Thanks in advance

Hi marcopolocan, 1. We wrote the names (sponsor, applicant, and date of photo) on the back. Probably we went a bit overboard 2. You can courier it. Just make sure you use the right address. Hope this helps!

She will have to provide a lot of proof that she intends to come back to Canada once you get your visa.

Thanks. The website says... When you agree to be a sponsor, you must sign a contract called an undertaking with the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration (or with the Ministère de l'immigration et des communautés culturelles [MICC] if you live in Québec). The undertaking is a promise to provide financial support for your spouse or common-law partner's basic requirements and those of his or her dependent children. Is it same as form IMM 1344??
