how can we get to know from CPC-M that our file has been received by them, whether they send any confirmation on email, phone or any other means.
Since, it's our 1st application and don't have UCI.
Kindly clear.

i applied for my husband on 22 febrary 2011, 0n 5 april case recieved by chc newdelhi inda,, on 6 may they start processing ,, and now on on 26 november they issued immigartion file number , and 27 november there is new line added " medical report have been recieved" can any one pls tell my next what happen and when they will ask for passport. thank you in advance ,, i m nervous  [/quote] |

No - they don't send a confirmation and there's no way of finding out if they received it (unless you sent the package by courier and can verify with the courier company). You won't hear from Mississauga until they have completed their review of your file. I believe their processing time is currently 68 business days. |

You may be asked for a Passport by way of a PPR 2. Or You may be called for an interview (some times it happens other way around) It seems yours is a bit delayed, |
