Hello,
I have some questions regarding sending sponsorship application:
1. Should I fill up all  the forms electronically or I can write in black ink? I know my spouse should fill up the IMM 0008 new generic form electronically to get the barcode.
2. Write now I am with my spouse. So I am planning to complete all his forms and then bring these with me. Is it Ok?
 3. Do you have any suggestion how should I arrange all these documents 1) Sponsorship and 2) PR application in one package?
4. How should I include the immigration photo? Should I ut them in a small envelope writing name and date of birth on back?
Any help or suggestion will be really appriciated.
Thanks

Fill out your forms by computer and that way there is no excuse for them to say that they could not read what you wrote.   Yes you can sort out the documents according to the check list for each the sponsorship and the PR application.  I personally put the photo's in a small envelope and marked the envelope to indicate what is in them.  Then place all of it in the envelope, address it to the CIC and post it.  Just double check everything and tripple check to make sure that all is in the envelope that they ask for otherwise if they have to send the package back for you to include something you missed you delay your process by the times it takes to get and send.

Pay stubs and T4s.

Just to make sure, all your paystubs for 1 year,  your T-4's and one year of your Bank Statements so that they can verify your deposits.  Highlight your deposits to help them see.

Program would be Family and the category  spousal. If you do the forms on the computer you will have drop down boxes with the selecltions.  The new forms were designed to be done on the computer and a barcode is generated at the end.  It is supposed to make things easier for CIC.

Good luck

Hi,

I'm gathering the papers required for my landing interview. in the list it asks generically for 'all immigration papers"
Unfortunately (believe it or not) when i sent the inland application to vegreville i forgot to photocopy the original documents so i don't have any proof that i sent them. well i found one of the two police certificates and my birth certificate, i have my original passport , proof of payment of 490 $ and the 2 photos required for the permanent resident card but the CIC application itself is missing. but  i think(tell me if i'm wrong) shouldn't be a problem because they have all of my application if they approved me, no? maybe immigration papers mean the original tourist visa(proof of status) which i have. then applying from quebec it asks me for quebec papers (which i have) and it is very specific about that. my question is

what documents were you asked at your landing interview? please answer also if you didin't apply from within quebec

Yes, it's normal.  Check the CIC processing times, that's as good as it gets for a general idea on timelines.  No-one else's timeline is going to tell you anything about yours.  Comparisons are useless.

Brilliant answer!!! comparing timeline it only frustates people... the best thing to do in this situation is to KEEP BUSY... if you cannot work, then paint, write, free time now is precious, enjoy it while it last...
