Hey everybody!

We sent our documents(inland) on June 30th, 2011. On July 14th  they started to process my wife's application. She did her medical check  in March 2011, i.e. 4 months before we sent application. So how do I make sure that the results WILL be sent to the immigration office and are not lost somewhere? Should we do medical again and send them again to make sure or what?

Her medical is valid for a year after the date it was done, and as you are processing Inland, that validity can be extended.  It will not be sent directly CPC-V, it will go to whatever office handles the medicals for them.  When your wife's file is being processed, CPC-V will request the results.  As long as you stated where the application was being processed and the DMP filled out the correct form, there is nothing more you need to do.  You don't have to re-do the medical.

Hello Everyone,

I have sent my application by mid of June,2011 then got a call from CIC- Missisaga that there is some signatures missing on IMM format, then I resent those by 20 July.

After that we came to know that our IMM format was expired, so send your application in new IMM version.

Now please advise which will date of recipt of application?

But according to that the case should be cleared its step 1 and reach at New Delhi VO.

Unless the sponsor is approved, they cannot send the file to New Delhi, can they?  Have you received the approval letter for the sponsor?  If you haven't, then they are still processing the sponsor evaluation at CPC-M.  If you have, then the file should reach New Delhi sometime between 10 and 14 days following the date of that letter.

Even after sending them latest IMM format (which was duly signed by my Sponser)as on 4, Aug . Still we didn't get any info from CIC- Missisaga.

How could we locate our application? and how much time we should expcet in totality??

hello to all!!!

i would just like to ask if anybody here has experienced this..

my husband petitioned me..
we are already on the stage of waiting for the decision for visa granting.(passed all forms, passed all docu needed, pass med exam, my husband has already paid for my PR, i already submitted my passport & marriage cert to them, as requested)

i just received all the documents from the canadian embassy (from manila) via DHL today.
these were the same documents that my husband passed to the canadian embassy (canada) initially on the first stage of our application...

does this mean that the canadian embassy (manila) has finished reviewing our petition?
normally how long will it take for us to know the result of their review?

thanks for your help in advance...
hope, we will see everybody, happily living with our families in canada!

If you haven't heard back from CPC-M, then the sponsor evaluation is not yet complete.  Try calling the Call Centre, they might be able to tell you a little sooner than if you wait on the letter.

I can't tell you about the timeline, each case has its own timing.  It is taking 60 days for them to get around to applications now, and some applicants from June still have not received a decision on the approval of their sponsor as yet.

When you say you received all the documents, does that include your passport? Is there no cover letter along with the documents?

Again the ques arises, will they peole treat my file received on mid of June or the first week of August when i sent them latest format of IMM??

No, they don't put your application back at the end of the line if they ask you to re-do a form or even if they return the entire application.  Others have had this happen and their file was dealt with again as soon as it was returned to CPC-M.  There was an applicant in Feb via London whose application was returned to him in March, he clarified the matter they mentioned, and returned his application in early April, and he had sponsor approval shortly thereafter.  He has actually received his PR now.

However...having said all that, that happened BEFORE this current backlog CPC-M is dealing with.  Once again, SOME June applicants, like yourself, STILL DO NOT HAVE SPONSOR APPROVAL YET.  You are not at the back of the line, but neither is your processing complete, apparently. 

Either you wait for CPC-M to send you the letter, or you can try calling the Call Centre to find out if they are making any progress.

my passport is still with them..

april 13, 2011- my husband passed the forms and all the supporting docu to canadian embassy..
may 13- he received a letter of approval from canadian embassy (canadian) for our petition
june 17- i received a letter of approval from canadian embassy (manila), also asking for my passport, marriage cert copy & another cert that i can't remember the name..
july 27- i passed my passport and all the req they asked.
sept 3- i received the doc, and aside from the receipt  i paid, no letter is attached...
