I don't know if you had your police record check or submitted with the application.  If you did then they may verify it if it is not done yet.  If both of these are good then you should expect a PPR for visa issuance.  At least this was my case.  Your VO may do things a little differently they may also be confirming employment and everything else that your app has on it but usually when you see medical results rec'vd you wil or should be hearing shortly for PPR.   That is my guess.

no, we did not send the police record check, because i read something that suggested that we wait until we hear from the visa office in accra.  I hope they contact my husband soon to do the check! thanks for your response!

I'm a canadian citizen and my fiance is american. I'm actually in US with him based on a tourist visa but the custom have give me a hard time to enter Us and I had to prove them I'm coming back to Canada, which i did. We want to get married real soon and live together in Canada. I will appreciate if someone can give me some help on our best option. Should we merried in USA and come together in Canada as a married coupple or it is better to get married in Canada. I want to find the fastest way to him to be able to work legally in Canada. I understand that once we are married I have to sponsor him and that the outland option seams to be the simplest way to do it but everything still confusiong. Thanks for helping out !

If your intention is to live together in Canada, then get married and start doing what needs to be done to sponsor him while you are in the US.  Pay the fees online, apply for his FBI certificate, do the medical (check the prices, sometimes it's cheaper in Canada).  With the process started, it will be easier for him to accompany you back to Canada as a visitor until his PR is approved.  Outland is faster, he would be a PR and able to work in about the same amount of time (possibly less) as first stage approval for Inland (10+ months).

I see from your other posts that your wife is Canadian and you are applying for sponsorship but your question has actually nothing to do with sponsorship.  However, if you are on a work permit and lost your job, you can stay until your work permit expires.  When it expires, you have 90 days to restore your status and if you don't, you must leave.  It is however better to apply for a change of status before your work permit expires.  You could for example apply to change your status to visitor based on being in the process of applying for sponsorship.
Your status right now is an unemployed temporary foreign worker.

Can somebody help me with a quick and a very important answer ?

Should I have signed and dated the Document Checklist IMM 5491 ?

I've just posted the file and I don't think I signed this one...

There's no signature space bar on it, maybe I'm just paranoid but I want to make sure the application won't be returned.

I still have time to get the file back from the Post if necessary.

Please, answer quick, thank you so much !

If it doesn't need a signature then there is no space to put 1
