Cut to the chase:

Can a person who is being under sponsorship agreement sponsor his spouse?

So if person A is sponsoring a person B in 2010..and person B wants to sponsor his person C in 2011..will there be any problems?

I am a full time student..soon to finish my University and I am planning to live with my soon to be wife. It s just that distance is starting to be a big problem for us and we would like to start our lives together.

Who sponsored you?  If you were sponsored by a parent as a dependent child and you turn around and right away get married and sponsor your spouse, immigration might want to know that you did not live together in a common law relationship before you immigrated because that would have disqualified you from the dependent child status.

If you were sponsored by a spouse, quickly get divorced to sponsor another spouse, immigration might have doubts that your first marriage was a marriage of convenience.

Other than that, no restrictions.

Um...let me put it this way : We could not live a common-law relationship life because we did not have the prerequisites : apartment, jobs, etc.. I engaged her but I cant really ask her to move in with me yet because I have no real home to offer her. And that's OK as she is still studying as well. I am about to finish my studies and go with the flow later on such as finding a job and place to live and then ask her to move in. But, we will marry very soon now and she wants as much as I want for her to move in with me in a new place and start a new life. So..i cant really say we had a common-law relationship as we've never thought about that to be honest. I mean..summer resorts don't count since it's not more than 1 and a half months "living" together. Waiting 2 years for each thing to complete is just too much..So, I want to know what are my options as I want things done as soon as possible.

I'm still full time student with scholarships and I do not want to turn that off and become a part timer for legal needs since I need them for the moment.

Thank you

Hm..you actually already answered my questions.. I'm just way too stressed to see things properly  Lips sealed

What evidence should I give them so they believe me I did not have a common law relationship?

Don't worry about it unless they ask.  I am sure if needed that there are plenty of people who can verify that you did not live together for a year or more.

This website is run by an immigration lawyer.  Go to the root website at http://www.canadavisa.com/ and you will see his picture.  I suppose you could send him some money if you feel like it but he is not actually asking for donations though.

He has staff administrating his website as well at this forum, removing spam and such but as far as I know, there are no staff answering questions here.
