Hello,

I have a concering question. I filed for my spousal sponsorship in Aug 2011 in Canada. I was approved as a sponsor and my application was sent to Islamabad for processing.
My circumstances changed after 4 months and i had to declare bankruptcy. Does any one think my application will be refused in Islamabad? Since i was approved intially because everything was perfect at the time of filling.

My bankruptcy will be over in just about 8 months. Once approved as a sponsor does the over seas visa office do any checks on the sponsor ?

Any feedback is great !

Thank You

Technically it should be refused as you didn't comply with the sponsorship requirements.  However, they may not check so you could be fine.  You won't know until they process the file.

With the rate Islamabad is processing you could very well have that bankruptcy discharged in time for the visa to be issued!

Good luck to you!
