Hello friends,

My husband is sponsoring me, and I was just wondering if an IELTS: General Training Version, would come in handy since I intend to study further in Canada. I already have a Masters in English Lit. and an MBA degree. Would I be qualified as a skilled worker? Can anybody please shed some light on my job and education prospects, and how I need to go about them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Smiley

If you're husband is going to sponsor you under spousal sponsorship it is not required...  but if you want to take IELTS you can have it here in Canada.

If you are planning to sit for the Canadian equivalent exams of your profession, some academic bodies require ILETS...not all of them...and you can always do it in Canada...no bigie...I did toefl when I moved to Canada and it was of no use..so, I would say it's better decide what you want to do here and then sit for the appropriate exam....!
