Sponsorship of Spouse Once the Application is Viewable Online

I was just curious if anyone knew, once you can see your spouses' part online how long do you think it would roughly take to hear something? His part is being done in Rome and they have everything and we can see his part online but we are still just waiting to hear anything....

Average processing times for Rome are currently 13 months.  It could be sooner depending on how well done your application is.  The better the application is, typically the short processing time involved.

Yah that's what scares me the 13 months they say....But we have sent everything they could need including the medical and police certificates....That is why i was curious if anyone had personal experiences or if there was hope at the end of the tunnel sooner since we can see him online now

When you say "hear anything", what do you mean?

The spouse and applicant eCas access is normally available around the same time.
There will also have been a letter sent to the sponsor around the time that eCas went active.

Search the threads here for applicants that applied in the same month as you.

When i was approved for sponsorship we could see his name online. Then once it was sent to Rome for close to 2 months we could not see anything for him. Only until recently have we seen his application online again. With that, that they received the application and the medical is received also. Actually the medical has disappeared off his application also so it is very confusing what could be happening.
I have gotten my letter from Mississauga but we are wondering what is going on in Rome now.

Be aware that there is a new computer system being rolled out - GCMS.
There are assumptions that this may be causing issues with information going missing, or being unreliable in eCas.

well i am just hoping we know more soon and they request his passport as soon as possible
it has been a long road
