Hi, my husband is a permanent resident in Winnipeg Manitoba. Two years ago he sponsored his parents and has been waiting until now for the result. October last year 2008, we got married in the Philippines and now he plans to sponsor me. I am afraid the embassy will find him ineligible to sponsor since he has submitted his parents sponsorhip prior to mine. Will I have a slim chance of getting to Canada to join my husband? or is it true that spousal sponsorship is a priority than parents sponsorship? Appreciate your thoughts.

Spouses are a priority, his application for his parents will have no effect on his application for you.
