Sponsorship my son from Hong Kong

Is it possible to bring my son to Canada while waiting for the application. I already sunmitted the application on May 12, and I know it won't has the result shortly, but me and my wife are missing him so much and would like to bring him to Canada immediately. Since he is holding Hong Kong passport which can stay at Canada for at least six months long. Can he come or does he need any document to stay with us. Appreciate any advise.

Since he is visa-exempt, then you can try and have him visit with you while the process is being completed.  As he is a child, I see no reason he would be denied entry, especially when you are already in the process of sponsoring him.

You need to buy him a return ticket to Hong Kong though.
