Sponsorship first step

So we've finally sent all of our forms and proof off to Mississauga for processing, I believe the next step is for them to send it on to London, UK.  How soon will we get a tracking number, or know if everything's going through okay?  Thanks.

Right now they are taking about 44 days to assess and approve sponsors.  Count 30 days at least, then try contacting the CIC Call centre if you are in Canada.  Otherwise, you should receive an email (check your spam/junk folders regularly!) by the end of the 44 day period, most sponsors are now being advised of approval via email where an address is provided.
