Hello,
thank you for all the members who help us with their priceless advice on completing the forms.

The only questions we have related to this form - Sponsorship evaluation IMM 5481 - are:

If the Canadian spouse never had any previous undertakings and person not included into current sponsorship process, and there's no other dependent family members who financially dependent on sponsor.....so none of these questions can be ticked and filled in. What to write in them? N/A? they ask not to leave any questions blank. so we are just not sure whether to leave them blank without having problems with application.

Also must the sponsor himself be included  in the total number required for financial evaluation? For example, if there's a spouse and two kids, shall he write 3 or 4 (including himself) as a total number?

Just out of curiosity - Who are 'every other family member not listed above and dependent on you financially, whether they are living with you or not' - does it include the kids of a spouse?

Thank you in advance for your kind attention to this post.

For questions 4 through 7 for the number part, I used 0's in the one's that didn't apply to us. I can't quite remember if I did include my husband (the sponsor) on number 6A, but I think I did. As for the questions that follow 5 & 6 on the 2nd page I put N/A for most if not all of them.

As for who is included in family the application says that 'family' includes spouse,
common-law partner, conjugal partner and dependent children. That means all dependent children from your current and previous relationships including children in the custody of a former spouse or common-law partner.
