I haven't heard from immigration yet and it's been 39 days.

Has anyone else had to wait this long or longer and everything was okay?  I'm looking for some reassurance that everything is fine and to not get disheartened, but as you can all appreciate I just want to know as soon as possible.  My daughter and I have been separated from my partner (her father) since January and it's really taking it's toll.  To know we've gotten past the first stage would make us feel so much better, I just want my family back together.  Cry

Is this for an outland application?

If so, then yes - that's completely normal and it's a bit too early to have heard anything yet.

Processing is currently taking 45 days (per CIC site) and I would then factor in another 3-5 days for mailing.

So you should hear something in about 10 days.

Thanks scylla  Smiley

Does anyone know if they notify on the weekends?  According to the website, the CIC's main goal is to reunite families as fast as they can...Could have fooled me.
