They received our app June 8th at Mississauga. We still have not heard anything from them. I know some peoples takes longer than others. and i didn't want to do this, but this is becoming ridiculous, frustrating and stressful. would it be wrong to ask a MP to help get us some info as to why it's taking so long? Im not trying to get it rushed, i just want answers.

I would say wait a little longer have you tried calling them? they are presently only on June 21 so maybe they did process and they mailed you back the answer(snail mail) try calling and if u have done so what was the outcome? keep in mind last week they were on June 13 so they are doing 1 week at a time as per their update on the website so it may have been process and is on its way back, have u tried logging unto ecas with your receipt number?

You can ask.

If you are certain it arrived and, given that the site states they are working on 21st June. I would wait a couple of weeks longer.
Remember the times are not absolute deadlines.

You need to try and walk away from constantly keeping an eye on the process, there really is more to life.
If you really mean that you don't want to rush this, then do something else, time will pass, rest assured, you will eventually get a reply Smiley

The first time I called the agent said it was received June 8th. Second time I called the agent gave me a useless answer.

Im leaving in a few weeks to go visit my wife for the duration of the process, and I don't think crossing the border without a sponsorship approval letter would look very good, and im afraid of being denied access.

and I have tried logging on using ecas with the receipt number and my wifes info. nothing, and i dont have a client ID number, the only way to log on for us right now is with the receipt number.

Try your info with receipt number, it is usually matched up with sponsor information, I would really suggest calling again
