My Husband and i just got married.. i have heard from many other ppl that he was allowed to come to Canada with me..?
but we would still have to fill out all the papers.. ( i live in Canada BC) he lives in El Salvador
how long will this take?? and could he come to Canada right now? hes a lawyer in El Salvador...
one minute we find out that he can.. then the next minute we find out he cant...  Huh  Shocked i dont know what to do or think right now!!

1.  He requires a TRV (visitor visa) to come to Canada.  It is unlikely that one will be issued as he has a Canadian spouse, and CHC would assume that he is not going to Canada temporarily, but intends to remain permanently.  If you are a Canadian citizen, you can sponsor him while living in El Salvador, if you are a PR you must return to Canada to submit the sponsorship and application.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

im back in Canada... so this would be the fastest way for me to do the sponsorship then? do you know bout how long this could take? and thank you for ur reply!

Applying to sponsor him does not give him the right to visit.  It's a separate application with different requirements.  Applications for nationals of El Salvador are processed in Guatemala.  Current processing times are up to 18 months.  Could be faster if you have a well prepared application.

Your next step is addressing the reasons you were denied, fix them and apply again.

Your next step is addressing the reasons you were denied, fix them and apply again.

Or appeal to the Immigration Appeal Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board.
